I'm sure the Yankees can knock off the Rays rolleyes.gif But, can the Sox? The teams are pretty much equal except in the pen where I have to give TB a big edge.

I'm more afraid of the Rays than any other playoff team in the majors. With the Angels, despite what the sportswriters said, it was sort of a given that we'd win. At least, as a Sox fan, and considering recent history it was. But the Rays...ooh...a lot of Shields and Kazmir is never good. Thing is, they only beat us by one game in the season series but I'm still scared shitless. They're pretty much even in my eyes so we'll just have to see who is hungrier. Sox offense still doesn't feel like the best offense in the majors, no matter how often I watch them hit.

I hope they can keep the games under 5 hours.

Could see this one going seven. The thing that worries me is that there were several games this year where we could've brought the Rays back down to Earth with a victory, and they won the game every time. They definitely have an '04 Sox feel to them- loose and hungry. I think Becket will be the key. If he can shake off the start against Anaheim and revert back to postseason form, I think we stand a good chance. If not, it will be tough.

Pretty worried about their home field advantage too...I'm sure people will go to playoff games in Tampa.

And on a side note, in a speech in Florida, Palin tried to compare herself to the Rays. Oi.

"Just like the Rays I have no real fans or support, people only jump to me becasue I am hot "
