jranieli Posted August 8, 2006 Share Posted August 8, 2006 I was disappointed to hear that he was not comming back to the Mets. He was my favorite Met for years. He brought this franchise back from the laughing stock of the league. He took us to the 2000 World Series. Tonight he makes his return but with the San Diego Padres. I hope the Mets play a tribute to him on the video screen. I really wish I was there tonight. I still wish he was still in a Mets uniform.
