Mock 1.0?

Ok I did an early goofed up one before, first official mock pre senior bowl, pre combine.

1.Johnathan Cooper #64 OG UNC

Extremly athletic, looks for the extra block, can get to the second, had 18 pancake blocks. He might not be there at 19, but if he is, we definitely grab him. One negative, he tends to get jumpy and draws false starts.

love at 1:30, how he blows up the DE.

this breaks it down well

2.Logan Ryan CB #11 Rutgers. 14 pd's, three int's and is good at playing the run. Has good leaping ability and can locate the ball well in the air. Can also blitz. Young secondary of Prince,Hosley and Ryan would be incredible

3.Devin Taylor DE #98 South Carolina. Good size 6'7, 275 has 72 inch wingspan. Has speed to turn the corner, can sometimes get stiff when he gets there though. He would be a steal at this point. He can also stand up has an OLB.

4.A.J Klein #47 LB Iowa St. Looked this guy before the shrine game, he showed up well during that game. No highlight videos. Not extremely athletic, more of a lunch pail type of LB.

5.Nick Kasa #84 TE Colorado Moved from DE, is a good in line blocker and has surprising straight line speed. He is raw, but extremely athletic. He has looked well in Senior bowl workouts, also participated in the shrine game.

6.Rex Burkhead RB Nebraska. Only falls cause of injury (two knee injuries last year.) blue collar type of back with a nose for the end zone, he had 15 td's in 2011. Would be a great compliment to Wilson. I know some would be concerned about another injured back, but it's not career threatening and he would be a steal at this point

7.Michael Clay OLB #46 Oregon A bit undersized, reminds me of another former Duck Paysinger

Did you pick Cooper in the first just to tweak me? You know how I hate interior offensive linemen in the first round. Obviously, I think Cooper at 19 is a reach. And if we really liked him, we should trade down out of that spot, because I think he'd be there at 25 or even later.

Congrats on not mocking Tyrann Mathieu. I think he will be the most over-mocked player in the 5th round or later for every fan mock out there. Personally, I think we have the same kind of player in Hosley already.

Right now, I think I'd mock Jonathan Banks to us, even though it's very early. I love Montgomery and Okafor as first round picks.
