The Lineup: * SS Jose Reyes * LF Endy Chavez * 3B David Wright * CF Carlos Beltran * RF Ryan Church * 1B Carlos Delgado * 2B Damion Easley * C Gustavo Molina * RH John Maine The Pitchers: RHP John Maine (1-2, 3.57 ERA) starts for the Mets. Maine earned a loss in his last start versus the Cubs on April 21, surrendering two runs on five hits while striking out six and walking two through six innings pitched. In four career starts versus the Braves, Maine is 1-2 with a 4.84 ERA. RHP Tim Hudson (3-1, 2.93 ERA) takes the hill for the Braves. In his last start versus the Nationals on, Hudson earned a win, allowing one run on 10 hits while striking out three and walking two over 6.2 IP. In his previous 13 career starts against the Mets, Hudson is 8-4 with a 3.68 ERA. The Notes: David Wright is 8-for-37 (.216) with 1 hR and 4 RBI versus Hudson in his career. By May 15th if delgado does not show some semblence of coming around it may make sense to outright realease him and I am dead serious. He is killing them all around. A guy like Dmitri Young or kevin Millar can probably be had and for what its worth at this point let Marlon Anderson play 1B and hit 280 and hit singles, its better than pop up and strikeouts.
