Congrats Phillies. You guys really deserve the NL East this year. Showed a lot of heart and did not give up. Gotta give you guys a lot of credit. Good luck in the playoffs.

It's practically made me barf watching those soldout crowds spinning their rally towels, or watching the phillies players cheer while watching the mets lose.

 

But goddamit, that team deserves that satisfaction.

All tied up, 3 games to play...a lot can still happen though. But it's fun to still be excited about baseball heading into the final weekend of the regular season. No matter what happens, it's been a fun season.

I really hope the Mets sweep the Marlins and Philly loses at least 1 this weekend, just to see if a few certain people here backtrack and start Met Postseason Pep Rally threads.

 

 

You guys know damn well you will still be rooting this weekend.

Remember how bad the '05 White Sox looked in September? How about the '06 Cardinals? The '06 Tigers lost their last 5, along with the division.

 

All we have to do is get in, and anything can happen. Until the math says it's over, it isn't.
