  1. Spags definitely should have should have backed off his throw the kitchen sink at em plan. Clog the passing lanes, give them nothing short, and if they beat us deep, they beat us deep. Of course, you can only do so what to cover our weaknesses on D, and we have a ton of them. Aside from Ross, and occasionally Pierce, our back 7 are not good. We have got to get 1 big time DT as well that can generate pressure up the middle. 4 DEs might work against lesser teams, but against a "good" team that doesn't cut it. It's a cheap gimmick.

I don't understand Aikman getting all over Eli for the delay of games. That comes down to that bafoon Gilbride getting the plays in too late. This has been happening since TC took over. If Eli is gonna audible, he needs the time to. When you get to the line of scrimmage with 5-6 seconds on the play clock, that's inexcusable. Eli needs to start screaming at Gilbride to get his plays in quicker. That said, Eli didn't exactly play a great game. Throw the f'n ball away when you feel pressure. I don't understand why he doesn't, and can't remember the last time he did. He has got to put some extra muscle on in the offseason as well. He's gonna get killed out there one day. I would think it would also help out his arm strength and he'd be able to place the ball better in tight spots where he wants.

Regardless, Dallas is simply a better team. If the Giants play a mistake free game and all the breaks go there way, they can beat Dallas. But Dallas is fucking good. No if ands or buts.

  2. I was the only one here lobbying to bring Randy Moss into New York. Oakland would've been more than happy with Plax. Moss is an amazing receiver and no one else comes close.

Belichick has rings. TC doesn't. That's why Moss is behaving. I would have loved to see him come to NY too, but he would have been up to his usual shit. The results would never be the same.

  3. D was very impressive. making me eat my words. I just wish the offense would show a little frickin consistency. I think that mainly has to do with playcalling though. The Oline is sick. Just run the ball 75% of the time and we'll be fine. I've been waiting for the power running game to resurface for the last 15 years. I love it. THAT is how you win championships.

  4. I'm ecstatic with the play of the D in that last game. They dominated a group they should have. very nice.

The offense..... they really need to get their act together. Too many missed opportunities. They should have put up at least 27 on the eagles. To their credit, they avoided making a lot of costly mistakes.

  5. Cornerbacks take longer than any other player to fully come around and reach their potential. Champ Bailey got smoked nonstop for his first 2-3 years (especially by slowass Amani), then turned into a stud. Terence Newman, same thing. Give Ross some time.

  6. For the most part, good game all around for the Gmen. That goal line stand at the end had me thinking back to the 80s. Very impressive. The O still needs to become more consistant. Now maul the frickin Iggles next week, go to 2-1 in the division, and things are alright.

  7. We MUST beat Washington and then Philly the following week. Take care of the rest of the divisional games, and lose only 1-2 other conference games and they could be alright. But that's a tall order. The offense will have to score 28+ each game from here on out to realistically give this team any shot to win.

  8. Gspotter: 100% correct that the team will never be sold. At least the Mara's portion. I gotta find a way to scrounge up the $$ to buy the Tisch half.

As far as a coach, I'm clueless. I really thought we were getting Belichik this coming offseason. There has to be a young peep out there from the Parcells tree, or any tree, who is ready. Golfindude, you get the call!

  9. It's that simple. Wellington & Bob drove the team into the ground with their abysmal football decisions & cheapness, and their sons have shown that the fruit doesn't fall far from the tree. They give a lame duck coach and lame duck contract extension, they, along with Reese, allow Strahan to treat them like a couple bitches instead of cutting him, they made no attempt what so ever to hire a GM outside the organization because they have no clue what to look for in a GM, they're building the ugliest, most overpriced stadium in football history, and they are simply stuck in the past.

The current team is a fucking disgrace. This is, without a doubt, the worst Giants defense in over 25 years. The coaching staff is useless between horrible playcalling and not holding players accountable for stupidity on the field. How about some fucking in game adjustments? Well, I guess you can't adjust shit if the players simply suck. Accorsi f'd this team so bad with his piss poor personel decisions that it will take 3-4 years to rebuild into a contender. The defense must be totally gutted. The Dline has been totally manhandled, the safeties are boneheads in coverage, no one can tackle, Strahan looks completely disenchanted cause he got no more $, we have no kicker, & we have no LBs.

Belichik has been re-signed. Fisher is close to a new deal. I'm not thrilled with Cower cause he lost way too many games he should have won, but he'd still be an improvement and bring professionalism to this hole. However, he'll never come cause Mara Co. is too cheap and he won't give Cower enough say in personnel.

The team must be sold, but that will never happen, and as such, we'll suck for years with the occasional playoff appearance. But in the end, we won't win shit. We'll get the last 17 years all over again.

    end rant

  10. I really don't want Rice, but right now I really don't want Strahan either.

Agreed. I would have no problem playing Tuck at LE, and having Willie Joe spell him when need be.

You know, this whole team needs an enema. The legacy of douchenozzle Earnie Accorsi continues. i can't wait till the whole team gets turned over. I'm reeeeeeeeeeeally gonna have a hard time rooting for this team this year, especially if Strahan plays. I hate Shockey, TC is stuck in the past, Plaxico is one of the dumbest fucks on the planet, & Osi is a drama queen bitch in the mold of Strahan. I hope Jacobs can go apeshit now that the asshole has moved on, Eli gets a brain & some nads, & that our young secondary shows some improvement. That happens, I'll be content. Otherwise, I'll be going through a 1/2 a week.
