  1. Hey Vanilla Ice shut your hole.......Wanna be hip-hop..... :LMAO:

You're just mad because you were, once again, made to look like an idiot...you, Mikmak and mastershake and others like you two are constantly posting conspiracy theory articles and other nonsensicle BS imagined up in the heads of those out of touch with reality...you obviously have a severe lack of comprehension skills when it comes to analyzing information about the world around you so I'll just end this interaction right here.

  2. O, ye of little or NO COMPREHENSION:

This article was NOT written by Peter King, you dolts! This is some crybaby, sore loser Seahawks fan analysis of the game who MISLEADINGLY put a picture of Peter King from circa 1992 and a SINGLE QUOTE of his at the top of the page in an attempt to give it some credibility....once I realized that, I didn't even bother reading much further past that, because the writer obviously lacks faith enough in his own beliefs to let them stand on their own without trickery. I can't believe you people fell for that....

  3. lol How is he "DA MAN" based on that article. Do you understand that meeting was strictly a preventative measure by Cashman to try to keep Sheffield happy while the Yankees let him play out the season before deciding whether they want him around anymore? He's so stupid, he fell for it. If he's so great, why aren't they picking up the option right now? 13 mil. ain't a lot to pay for a great player.

I said he is Da Man because of this:

"You always want to earn whatever you get. I take a lot pride in that. He didn't have to bring me in today. I appreciate that. When I was a free agent, a lot of teams called and I really didn't answer. There was only one place, and that still remains the same. I don't want to play for nobody else but the Yankees."

He knows where the place to be is, just like Johnny Damon knows, and even though he was once removed from your suckass franchise, Roger Clemens knew too....when you want to get SERIOUS about your career and win multiple championships, you come to the Yankees. :flex:

  4. The Nets were in 2 finals with Kenyon Martin, haven't been there since without him. Do the math! It's the worst mistake they've made in a long time. You can't play half court basketball without a decent power forward and the playoffs is half court basketball.

Don't forget, though, that events probably wouldn't have happened for us to get Vince if the K-Mart debacle hadn't happened...however, it'd be nice to reacquire him at this point and keep the rest...he could replace Collins.

  5. You know the NBA is in a sad state when fans think 29-23 is "really" good.

I wasn't merely talking about their record as being indicative of how good they are, I mean the talent on the court....unfortunately, it seems the Nets get befuddled on the road, yet are awesome at home....if they can correct whatever it is that makes them play so differently away, their record would be more consistant with how good they actually are.

  6. Rally good, yes....able to compete with the Pistons, Spurs, Mavs or Suns (with Amare), NO! Plus, if they get K-Mart, they'd have to lose someone. Regardless, the Knicks are the worst team in the league, I can't even continue talking basketball.

They're ALREADY a really good team, smart guy, but I'd admit not quite elite...although not far from being that...the only thing I can agree with you on is that last sentence.

  7. There is little to no chance that veteran Will Allen will return. The RCB did not have a good season for the third year in a row, and now that he is a free agent, he will probably just be allowed to walk off.

Veteran Luke Petitgout is about to become too expensive for the value received. He has played seven seasons, the last three as the LT, and his performance has not been commensurate with his salary, which will be nearly $6 million (base) this year. The Giants need salary cap room and with the departure of a few older veterans they can get it. Petitgout's departure will go a long way financially, but finding a new LT is going to be dicey at best.
