  1. Arrington is meeting w/ Marv Lewis........1390 mentioned the Bengals will likely sign him.....

    NNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    :cwy:

EA YOU STOOPID IMGRATE!!!! STOP PLAYING WITH YOUR WIG AND SIGN LAVAR NOW!!!!!!!!!! HE'LL LOOK STUPID IN TIGER STRIPES!!!!! THE 80'S ARE OVER!!!!!! PUT HIM IN BLUE, NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Hmmmmm....just read that thing about Lavar...I hope it does work out, I really want him on the Giants...I know that AP is making a big push for him internally.....this is starting to remind me of Plaxigate from last offseason....

  3. This is a Super Bowl caliber team,” Pierce said this week. “I’m not selling us short as far as getting to the Super Bowl this year. I think we have all of the talent in the world, and I think we have the coaching staff to get there.”

  4. All speculation.........he's going where the money is and I don't see the Giants spending big on a guy with baggage.

Please, his "baggage" is grossly overblown, this guy is a beast...I remember seeing him destroy opposing offenses at Penn State and hoping he would wind up in Blue someday....that day is now....with him back lining up next to AP and those two going to work, you'll forget all about anything negative you can think of from his past....believe me, L.T. and Harry Carson would appreciate seeing what these two can do to restore dominance at the LB position for the Giants and so will we....just wait and see it happen and check your negativity at the door.....

  5. I cant say I wouldnt want him, but if we got him, the Secondary situation would scare me. Dont get me wrong, I love Will Pete, and think Webster will be fine, but I dont want to go after moe Rookies and have to wait longer for a good secondary. Will ete has had alot of injuries, he worries me. When he plays, he one of the best, when he plays. Would it be possible to get Arrington, and someone younger and better than Madison?

I think with the new cap in place, we can satisfy both positions nicely....also, look for Puke to be asked to restructure his contract to make a significantly lower base amount and more room for us under the cap.....ideally, I wish we could just show him the door, but are there even any decent LT's out there to replace him with?

  6. And, in the middle of last season, when he was on the skids with the 'skins, I said this would happen in the offseason.....I can't wait for it to come to fruition:

EA!!!! YOU STOOPID IMGRATE!!!!!! STOP NEGOTIATING CBA'S AND SHOPPING FOR WIGS AND SIGN ARRINGTON NOW!!!! HE WANTS TO REJOIN A.P. AND BE A GIANT!!!!!!!!!

Johnny Damon said that no other manager he has played for had ever set his sights as high as Joe Torre did on the first day of spring.

"Johnny, you look good in a Yankees uniform!" shouted one fan to Damon, who was standing on first base.

"Thanks, baby!" replied Damon before taking off for second.

Damon seemed touched by the positive fan reaction, though he believes that to truly be considered a Yankee, he has a lot of work left to do.

"It's great to see a lot of fans accept me as being a Yankee," he said. "You feel proud, because you know what you've done over your career and what your reputation is. They know what I can bring to New York.

"I do feel like a Yankee, but I also know that I need to go out on the field and help this team win to be truly accepted by the fans -- and even the players."

Torre spoke with Damon on the field during the workout, though the manager has no plans to have a sitdown with his newest superstar to discuss his transition.

  8. Not Lofton bud, but who cares about him anyway....the mick is reaching for anything right now.

Yeah, my bad....but, for some crazy reason, don't ask why, I think of David Justice when someone mentions Kenny Lofton  ....in any case, Lofton's career is all but over and he was only with us for one season two years ago, so he shouldn't even be brought up in reference to what I said prior.

  9. Yep, just like Gordon, Giambi, Mussina, ARod, Brown, Pavano, Wright, Matsui, Lofton, etc., etc., etc.

Moose has been fine for us, Matsui is awesome, Lofton won the WS with us and Giambi's and A-Rod's stories are still being written, so what the hell is your point regarding them? As for the rest, we can't help it if some people crumble under the heat of the NYC spotlight while others thrive.
