New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning took part in practice Friday after missing time this week with a foot injury.

 

Manning, who shared snaps backup quarterback David Carr, is questionable for Sunday's game against the visiting Oakland Raiders with plantar fasciitis, an inflammation near the heel of the tissue that runs along the bottom of the foot.

 

He has started 82 straight games but has been bothered by the injury for the past few weeks. He didn't practice during either of the Giants' other workouts this week, on Wednesday and Thursday.

 

The ailment reached a crescendo Sunday when he set up to throw against the Kansas City Chiefs in the fourth quarter.

 

After practice Thursday, coach Tom Coughlin declined to predict whether Manning would be able to start, saying only that the inflammation in Manning's foot was feeling better.

 

A decision on whether Manning plays may not be made until Sunday.

 

The fact he returned to the field gives Manning a better chance of being available Sunday. Friday's practice will end around 1 p.m. ET.

From what I Understand when they built the stadium they built it with less seats then the old stadium they were at because they couldn't sell out the old one.

But yeah the seat are really cramped. I just love rubbing up against strangers. Makes me feel like I am back in the Subways of New York

It was fucking awesome how many Giants fans were at the Stadium.
