Would anyone be suprised if we actually drafted a LT in the 31st?

Requested trade, I would love to see this guy with the Giants playing OLB.

That means we get to benefit the most, as all of our picks starting form the 1st round are moved up one. While most other teams, second round is moved up a spot. It's not a "big" deal, but it's not bad at all.

Exactly what happend to this pick? Does another team get it, or is simply removed from the list? That would mean the Giants get the 31st pick and every other team moves up one slot after New Englands pick right? And what number is giants 2nd round pick?

It's a rumor, and I'm not exactly holding my breath.

 

But this one is intriguing to me. Adams would be an upgrade from Diehl, but probably not as much as most would like to think. But what it would do for other positions on the line would really make things interesting. Diehl could go back to guard, Making Seubert above-average depth. Reugamer could concentrate on backup center. And, like he did in 2006, Seubert could come in during situations that required a blocking tight end.

 

The improvement over the position might not be particularly noticeable, but the net improvement on the line as a whole could be considerable.

 

Like Garafolo said, just a rumor; and I'm only running with it. Thoughts?

Only problem is he would ask for rediculos amount of money.

What does that mean?

My understanding is a lot of players restructure their contracts to get it down. How many times can you restructure contracts before either you come up to a REAL cap hell with a ton of bad contracts, or the players get sick of restructuring each offseason and say "No we are not restructuring again."

Yeah, the Skins are old and going to get a lot older.. they won't be able to keep the young players, with these ridiculous extensions they have been giving to the older vets. If they keep adding years to the contracts, we might see 40+ guys lobing it.

True... but there were a lot of fumbles in that game due to the conditions. Plaxico and Jacobs also fumbled, we want to keep them, right?

Plex didn't fumble the ball, Jacobs did.. though. As for McQuarters fumble.. he wanted to do too much.. and didn't take care of the ball like he should have.
