  1. I think Tiki has been a distraction, which is why coughlin has started cutting back his work load. Luke has been mic'd for the past few games and there have been recordings of Tiki in the huddle.

A few things he has been heard saying.

    Seahawks game

"Hey guys, did you hear i'm retiring?"

    Bears game

"I'm glad I', retiring this season".

Once Tiki found out Luke was mic'd, he had his leg broke.

As you see he often talks about rretiring in the huddle and it is distracting the team and they lose. It's even been rumured he now chants "Last season" when running the ball.

frankly, i'm tired of Tiki holding this team back, it's time for the J Train. I mean hell if we're only gonna run 20 times anyway, may as well give it to the bruiser.

    Thoughts?

Michael "I dress like a thrift store couch" Irvin is a journalistic Einstein.

  2. I refused to even look at/listen to/read ANY post game analysis (including this board) until I've had time to digest what happend last night. I worked all day and just thought about what I saw last night.

First of all, our first half defense was outstanding. Hats off to our reserves. If our DC knew what he was doing or had a spine, we may have pulled one out DESPITE our bumbling QB and abysmal playcalling. Instead Lewis decided that a 10 point lead was enough to play prevent. Tim Lewis should be out of a job next season. ONLY because the Giants don't fire people half way through a season. I've seen enough of his coaching "skills" and it's little wonder Pittsburgh showed him the door. I am fully convinced that our starting defense is so full of talant, that they were good despite Lewis' ineptness.

Speaking of coaching..................EVERYTHING about that FG attempt was bad coaching. From the decision to kick it, right down to the falling asleep during the play. I've been a defender of Coughlin, but that one play makes me wonder if he in fact knows what he's doing.

Eli was simply terrible. He fell apart when we needed him the most, and I'm tired of defending him. He can no longer rest on his "youth" as a factor. It's time to grow up.

Why did it take so long to get the ball to Shockey??? Our offense is so much more explosive when he gets to touch the ball.

Lastly..........Why was Jacobs given an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty?? They said you can't use the ball as a prop, but EVERY TIME the Bears mocked our "ballin" celebration they were using the ball.

  3. I hope you're right, but knowing what an idiot this guy is, I wouldn't be shocked if he's doing this on his own.

I don't know why people are so bent out of shape about it. The "bulletin board material" talk is pure nonsense. Maybe it wasn't the classiest thing to do, but it will have no bearing on the game what-so-ever. If Burress goes out and plays lights out, some of you will develop stort term memory losses.

Burress has been terrific on the field this season. Without him we lose most of our games.

    Relax.

  4. I don't think they will. They're smarter than that. Lessons learned from the what the reps did to Clinton. I think the democrats will play this one right to position themselves for a whitehouse takeover in '08.

Apologies to the rest of posters for discussing politics on a Giants' thread.

    Go Giants. :flex:

    Oh yeah..............um....Bears are overrated.

  5. Absolutely. I hope to hear less and less of Robertson and Falwell. We need to hear more progrssive ideas that will get this country moving in the right direction and keep it that way. It feels like the US was a dicatatorship for a while.

Just like our beloved Clinton said "There's nothing that's wrong with American that can't be fixed with what's right with America"

I just hope they don't start with impeachment precedings. The last thing we need is a waste of time and money, when they need to be doing the "people's work". 2008 is just around the corner.

  6. Wow, it takes the shut down of Giants.com to bring people to this forum. :LMAO:

It's the lack of traffic here that keeps a lot of us away. There may be FAR MORE idiots on that board, but at least page 1 changed more often than once a week.

If it's gone for good I hope SOME of them are smart enough to come here.

  7. well i think their offense is overrated..but their d is good, make no mistake. if we were both healthy i would feel confident about this game. due to the injuries i am a little iffy, but i do think we can still win.

Alot of teams we have played this year had a best something before they faced us. The Bears D has not been tested this year. They are #1 on paper only,. IMHO they need to beat a good team to be labeled as the best. Stats only tell half the story.
