as bad has eli has looked.... there were 5 drops of his passes.... 3 by plax, 1 by shockey and 1 by Tiki.... all of those were very catchable balls....

we are really missing toomer right now... he was always the dependable guy who stepped up when it really mattered

The guy gets injured. We should give him a hi five for being a true Giant.

Am I disappointed? Hell yes I am. But not because I think we wasted a draft pick. He was my 1st overall pick, and I was hoping T Carter would be gone and we would finally have that deep threat. You can't judge the guy at all. He's injured and hasn't had a chance to play.

I am Impressed!!!! There's still hope for Eli, but that Bears game was his time to shine, and he stunk up the joint.

Yes, I had hoped and (and even predicted) that Eli would step up and win this game for us, but he looked bad. Luke going down didn't help, but Eli was just awful.

Since I was 5 years old around 1971, Ron Johnson was our RB. Most people were Dolphin, Vikings and Jet fans back then and Joe Namath was the talk of the town.

That would make us pretty much the same age. I was living in Louisville KY at the time, and just learning the game back then. College basketball is huge there. The closest thing to a team there was Cincinatti. So I liked the Bengals back then. It was either them or a be a Cowboy fan, and THAT wasn't going to happen.

The sad thing is the beginning of the season no problems, lots of other teams had injury issues and I was always greatful thinking "Wow glad that isn't us." Amazing what a couple weeks can do.

It's become dis-heartening. We go from SB consideration, to just barely being a contender in our own division.

His performance this season hasn't been spectacular, but there isn't any reason to abandon all hope. The kid has the skills, he just has to grow a nutsack.

I understand the Romo thing. Afterall................he plays for America's team and that should automatically get him a HOF consideration, but what is up with Farve??? He has 1 game without a turnover and he jumps up to 9????

I'm not disputing the lack of respect for Eli, he hasn't earned any this season, but this is pure bullshit.

One thing Eli may need is a real fire under his ass. Someone needs to get on him and get him consistent. He shouldn't get this "Golden Boy" feeling like this job is his no matter what happens this season. TC has to stop protecting Eli so much.
