  1. i dont understand how any of this cracks relate to my above statements...but too each is there own...you personify the 20th Century Sportsfan, who is the first person to run out and purchase a jersey for yourself and every family member and probably dont even know a thing about the player itself...

then again, you wouldnt understand...the FAB 4 is here to bring levity and reality back to an unrealistic world...

you can call us, in a sense, ThrowBacks too...

You are far from a throwback. if anything, I would call myself and most of the other posters here throwbacks. Throw backs to the days when you supported your team and it's players regardless of their personnel or record. I buy as many jersey's as I can, when my finances permit, and I buy the same ones for my son because, it creates just one more thing I can share with him, which, I suspect, is something you didn't have a lot of as a child. If so, I'm sure your father would have taught you something about loyalty and what it means to root for a team. I call you a 'fair-weather fan' because, in times of what you deem turmoil within the team, you have nothing positive to say. Even during the times the team is doing well, you dote on the negative. So yes, you are, in the eyes of everyone but the three other douche bags that share your pessimistic view, are a bandwagoner, a fair-weather fan, and a douche bag. And just a side note, it's the 21st century and has been for 5 years now. Go Giants!

  2. not much of the current facade of what was once the NYG's...

i admire Tiki Barber, the best RB to put on a NYG jersey...i admire Justin Tuck...i admire the non-flashy Offensive Line...i admire coaches of the past...Parcells, Bellichek, Fox...i admire Leonard Marshall...the entire LB unit from the early/late 80's...i admired what Kerry Collins did for the NYG organ. after years and years of inadequacy at the QB position...i admire Phil Simms toughness and will to compete...i admire Rodney Hampton, Rob Carpenter, Karl Nelson, William Roberts and Jumbo...i admire Jim Burt, George Martin, Mark Collins...i admire how Hos. stepped in and played just good enough to make us hang on to win a Superbowl...i admired Matt Bahr and how tough he was...i admire how LT played with broken bones and torn tendants and played his best football...i admire Carl Banks when he choked out Ray Handley during half-time...

i admire O.J. Anderson even though he is a Cardinal at heart, what he did for us...i admire Gary Reasons on 4th and goal...i admire Pepper...Jesse and Mike...i admire Strah and Osi

i admire the aura the NYG defense ONCE had...it preceeded them every Sunday...it won games for them

  3. Draft Report

Giants draft drew praise from the folks at Great Blue North Draftniks. Despite the blue reference, these guys are not a Giants site. They host a good draft blog that I visit ever year.

They did a real nice writeup on the Kiwanuka pick and offered additional justification for it. For those chirping that Kiwi wasn't first round material, pay attention to his ranking going into last years draft. They had him as high a 3rd overall!

Surprisingly the only pick they didn't seem high on was Peprah, who I thought was one of our better second day selections.

I really wanted the Giants to address OT on the first day and am not convinced that Whimper will be ready to take the reins next season. The good news is that the Tackle class in next years draft appears loaded. Although a lot can change between now and then.

I don't think that Whimper was drafted with the intention of starting him next season.

  4. the thing is with twats like Floyd and his buddies is that they are never happy. They get more joy outta bitchin about what's 'wrong' with the team instead of just enjoying football for what it is....a fuggin game. If the Giants score a TD, these fags don't cheer, they pick apart the one missed black that happened or the fact that the TD put us up by only 6 when we should be blowing the team outta the water. Arguing your point to those guys is an act of futility unless your point coincides with their phucked up point of view.

  5. It's not the business that labels which sites are what. We use Sonicwall. The business picks what keywords it wants to block, Sonicwall detects the websites content according to what the site is published under.

  6. you should of stayed in Vegas, and not have payed ANY sort of attention to what occured last weekend for the NYG organization...

the entire weekend was a non-event...EA and those he employs on draft day were merely hired help...comedy relief is better put

    good post, great picks...love em

So, which one is it douchebag? The entire weekend was a non-event and comedy relief or EA and his hired help made some picks that you think are great and love?

  7. pulling out all the stops = signing a receiver with 35 catches to a contract larger than Plaxico Burress's.

pulling out all the stops = overpaying and giving up 2 prospects for an unproven number 2 that makes the occasional amazing catch.

pulling out all the stops = signing a tight end that averages 25 catches a year and is old

pulling out all the stops = overpaying for Adam Archuleta.

those signings make me glad I'm a Giants fan and not a Skins fan, personally.

    Agreed :TU:
