Isn't it nauseating every week?
yeah true
-
Yeah, pdoub is right, definitely a silent g.
So does this mean he plays for the "iants"
-
Game 1--sharpen tines on pitchfork;
Game 2--start putting pitch on the torches
Game 3--held match 6 inches away from previously mentioned torches
Game 4--blew out match, put away pitchfork
Game 5--statues erected.
lol

What is the significance of 2004 besides it being Eli's rookie year?
that is the significance
-
it was good to see him show some emotions
-
Just read that OBJ and Randle are being evaluated and had MRIs ... both claim they will be ready ... not so sure ... having no receivers is making me a bit worried about Monday's game.
-
It will be tougher playing IN philly.
521-10 Giants.
you think the eagles will score that much?
-
They probably will blow out the Giants. The exact same thing happened in this exact same game last year.
I would say this year Giants' team is much better than last year ... they still have flaws, but they are better ... this year Eagles team is far worse than last years ... I see the same formula ... Giants open up big lead early, then lose that lead in the 4th ... hopefully they can hold on though

I'm expecting a loss in Philly.. simply because a game against us is Philly's Super Bowl... I'm expecting Eli to throw a couple of INTs too... Now I'd love to be proven wrong of course.
that's the spirit

The Giants have reason to be confident. A win like Sunday night has the potential to be a catalyst for the rest of the season.
However, a loss in Philly can also completely derail that.
Should be an interesting game on Monday Night Football.
would be nice if they just blew out the iggles for once
-
is getting nauseating this week ... the amount of people down here that have the Eagles blowing out the Giants this week is astounding ... just on Saturday they all wanted to fire Chip Kelly, today, he is a god.
This town doesn't know what it likes.

Oh*wuh*mahg*bay Oh*dig*hee*zoo*wuh
forget it I am just calling double "O"
or "OO"

He's been in the league 9 years and hasn't played a full season since 2010. His best season with the Giants was 2013 where he played 12 games. Other than that he hasn't played more than 4 games. Obviously this year isn't over yet, but it looks like he will be out for a few weeks with the concussion.

I see an advantage in being able to run underneath the legs of every offensive linemen on every snap
-
Can we get some phonetics on this?
-
Well he used to be a defensive lineman, certainly was one before he was a FB. He is playing because he gets through the offensive line frequently.
I meant his size
-
Probably the biggest win this season so far. It is going to be a different team going forward from the last couple of years regardless of who gets hurt moving forward.
A win like this can change an entire team ... OBJ was emotional afterwards ... and when he came back on that final drive, the offense looked a lot different ... reminds of the LT days ... when LT was out there, everyone on defense looked invincible.
-
yeah, that was bad
-
Maybe he just has a charlie horse.
Maybe ...
One theory is that sometime in the late 1880s, the grounds crew in Chicago used a lame horse called Charley. Teammates started referring to injured players as Charley the Horse. Another story contends that a pitcher named Charles was nicknamed “Old Hoss.” One day, as he was running the bases, he got a leg cramp.
-
played 20 more minutes than I thought he would ... why do they keep touting this guy as being great ... he can't stay on the field.
-
That's for sure. One thing that kind of got ignored in last night's game was Damontre Moore's 2 sacks and nearly a 3rd one. Moore had a good game last night and should see more playing time as long as he can keep his temper and stupidity in check. He has the hunger and the capability to rack up a dozen sacks in the season if he can just play under control.
The inside of the defensive line has been solid as heck.
Little Whitlock is fun to watch as well, but won't become the next Strahan. We need Ayers back ASAP.
I agree .. it was nice to see Moore start playing like the player they thought he was ... but he needs to keep his emotions in check ... it'll be nice to get a guy that can get after the QB
I like Whitlock ... he's feisty, but you are right, he is a FB not a d-lineman ... I think he's only playing on D, because we are hurting on that line.

Rose is constantly hurt, nobody knows what his injury is, almost promised to the fans that he will come back but he never does.
Idk
sort of similar ... except we know Cruz has a calf issue .. although we are not sure what the problem is with the calf
-
Someone told me " I think Victor Cruz is the next Derrick Rose"
Now, I know a bit about Rose, but do people even think this is true? I don't even know Victor's injury status and whatnot so I can't say I agree/disagree.
I dont know anything about Rose as I don't follow basketball close enough .. but this cruz situation is getting frustrating

Miles White has been on the Packers' squad for the last couple of years. He was an undrafted player, but saw time on the field in his rookie year before spending the entire season last year on their practice squad. I'm sure that McAdoo knew the kid from when he was there. We signed him off their practice squad a couple of weeks ago - the same time we promoted Tye to the active roster to replace Fells. He has some game, but he's not OBJ...or even Randle. I was glad Eli hit Geremy Davis for a 16 yarder. Davis is a big strong tough bastard who isn't afraid to go across the middle and has super-glue hands. He just needs to build confidence and have a better understanding of the game at the NFL level. It will come.
My question was more rhetorical ... I agree about the kid out of Connecticut ... he does look like he has a lot of potential ... hopefully he picks up the offense soon, looks like they will need him.
Eli Manning is NFC Offensive Player of the Week
in New York Giants
