When your best pass rusher is a 4 foot 3 inch full back ... it's a no brainer you need JPP with or without his finger

I heard JPP is thumbing through the contract as we speak. Probably pointing out the areas where the Giants organization can add a few more digits.

 

An incentive laden contract is a good for both parties. JPP plays well the Giants will be happy to pay and if he is a dumpster fire then the Giants haven't committed much. I think Reese will get this done soon.

while I love the optimism ... you are out of your mind if you think they can get past the Packers. Back 2007 - 2008 and again in 2011-2012 ... we had stud pass rushers ... this year the opposing QB is eating a sandwich back there

Agreed. Very frustrating. Remember, the knee had supposedly healed and he was ready to return. The calf was believed to be little more than an annoying temporary setback. Now we're in Week 8 and he's still not practicing.....and you have to think it'll take a week or two of practice before he's up to game speed. Hard to believe he'll actually contribute this year. However, I'm sure we'll see him in plenty of commercial and print ads - and that exacerbates the frustration.

I think they need to shut him down for the season. Even if he returns, which is highly unlikely, is he really going to be more effective than Randle or Harris? I don't think so.

I'd rather have that than a whole position group of players who don't do anything all game regardless of who is in...

Start feeding aodell the ball and don't feed it to him only where he has to catch it with one hand. He's gotta be open, he's got so much talent.

If I were an opposing team defense coordinator I would double OBJ and single everyone else, rush 4 and play tight coverage .., until the giants can show they can run and pass block

Jared Allen had a pretty damn good game...it's too bad we couldn't spare a late round draft pick for him...

Jared Allen didn't do anything until Jason Peters went down ... once the backup came in, Allen looked like his old self.

Speaking of wide receivers, what in the fuck is up with Randle running out of bounds, untouched? Watching the replay he could have at least tried to accelerate and outrun those guys for 6.

I dont think he's a 100% ... he looks to be about 85%

Looks like the Giants will need to get another tackle in the draft next year ... maybe not round 1, we need pass rushers bad .. but definitely by round 3
