Wow man you're generous. I'm thinking Dexter Lawrence and Tae Banks miss 8 games apiece and we're trotting out a defense of 7th round draft picks and free agents by midseason.

Also, we're having an honest conversation about whether or not Drew Lock should be our starter.

Offensive Line has gone from historically bad to maybe just bad if we're lucky, but we still don't have a starting Guard on the team (Runyan is not good) and may not have an NFL caliber center on the roster.

Way too many ifs with these guys.

    6 wins max, probably less.

Damn....who pissed in your coffee this morning??

I think the new uni's are nice. Rather those than those solid red fuckers they had a few years ago

I fucking loved those solid reds. These are puke worthy - khaki fuckshits??? The only thing good about this uniform is the helmet.

  3. This dude gets invited to rookie minicamp and ends up signing a contract. Anyone has any info on this guy? Seems like a good addition at DT....undersized a little maybe

  4. Fuck - I think Ive gotten numb to the shit show we have been witnessing the last few years that I didnt feel that much pain - but seeing that chart I just realised i should have felt a lot more. More than often I just kinda knew these assholes were gonna get sodomized - so would just sit back and watch to as to what extent. Would pleasantly be surprised when they won....

    We're giving Jones a year 6.

Why would Indy give up after two?

They will if he gets injured again is what i mean.....DJ has gone through 3 coaches, 3 OCs and shitty offensive line his entire career. I hope he has a good year so we can utilise it somehow considering the QB market.

On the flipside...not cool by NY fans booing Barkley when he attended the NBA game between the Knicks and the 76ers

  6. Funny how when other guys get hurt they just 'get hurt' but with DJ its perilous! - if Richardson again has a season ending injury - Indy is definitely in the market. So are Pittsburgh if those 2 niggas dont pan out there. Dallas will NOT give Dak an extension if he pulls another Dak this season. Its a crapshoot - we just dont know.

For sure.  Shurmur got a quick yank.  He could have gotten a second year.

As I said - i think the players just didnt connect with the guy...hence the quick yank

  8. Judge never ever was Head Coach material - it overwhelmed him and in Shurmur's case - i think he lost the locker room and that was why he was let go.

  9. Waller hanging around with his BS 'Im still thinking about it' is pissing me off. Just fucking walk away and make your Illuminati and Runyan are good additions on the OL - think thats why they didnt focus too much on the line in the draft

Thanks. I love the Nubin pick...very unsure about the Phillips pick. I trust and hope they see something in him that I don't which defies the stats because the pass coverage numbers (eg passer rating) against him are terrible.

I loved the TE pick - from everything i read - this guy was the the 2nd best behind Bowers.

I mean owners/GMs dont have to tell players shit if they think it's helping the team.

Rodgers got no warning about Love, and I believe Favre had no idea about Rodgers.

Eli was never told about Jones.

They clearly had a high rank on Penix and in the most recent article I've read the GM said they looked at the Green Bay situation and valued adding a QB behind Kirk.

Rodgers sat for what? 2 years behind Favre? But he was young....Penix is already 23....this pick doesnt make any sense. Worse than our situation paying DJ 40 mill this year.....and he IS going to be the starter unless Lock lights it up the first couple weeks

I love the pick. Safety is/was a big need to address.

Me too....i loved the pick....best safety available at that time

Look at ALL the good players that went between our old #2 pick and the new one.

Brian Burns har better be fucking worth it.

He will be - just look at his film - kids damn good! Schoen knows what he is doing....in a coupe years this contract will look like chump change

This is all accurate, but also the context is one where if you're drafting a QB in rounds 1-2, you're more likely to be given a chance to start, given the team invested premium assets in your. Some guys rounds 3-7 rarely if ever get a chance to start, and the little they get might be backup work at best. For instance, the guys drafted in the top 12 this year are all going to be given a shot to start most likely at least a couple dozen games, while those in rounds 3-7 are more likely to be considered backups.

I'd be interested to see it expressed not as a % drafted but as a % given a chance to start, say, >= 20 games. The current denominator is all drafted, but I'd like to see it as among those who were given a chance to start 20 or more games, or some similar threshold.

Especially considering some recent drafts have been real duffers for QB's in the first round. Look at 2021-2022. Lawrence is a mid range starter, the rest are most likely backups, or maybe bottom tier starter in Fields.

    - Trevor Lawrence

    - Zach Wilson

    - Trey Lance

    - Justin Fields

    - Mac Jones

    - Kenny Pickett

Daniel Jones has been better than all of the above....
