Unfortunately, football is not for everyone. You can be the most physically gifted athlete. But if your body can’t handle the constant contact and grind, it will break down. This is why we admire this athletes. I wish him good luck.

Ok… I know the last few years I’ve been treating Evan Engram like the second coming of Ike Hilliard. But this video changed my mind. It kinda got me pump for the season to start.

A total F in my book... This draft was deep in OL talent. Especially round 1 -3 ... disgusting we didn't draft not one OL...

Honestly, going with my link above.
The fact that they ONLY gave up 25-30 sacks is a fucking miracle.
Keep in mind Daniel Jones is mobile QB. If he wasn't they would have given up about 50 plus.

OL are flying off the board.
Not that it matters since DG is fine with our garbage OL.
I’m so done with his stupid ass. This draft is DEEP in OL talent. And doesn’t take a OL in the first 3 round. What a dumb fuck!!!

So we draft Jenkins in round 2 lets say.
Or a guy like Davis, Carmen who would step in day one and make the Oline better.
What then? Or is it just "Hate life all the time" around here?
Jenkins won’t last until 42. No way! We CANT BLOCK a line of Carebears to save Jones life. But drafting WR is the answer. Morons!!!

This team is a joke. A fucking joke! Our OL is one of the shittiest lines in the NFL. We just lost our BEST OL in free agency. But we draft a WR knowing full well our OL can’t protect for more than a fucking second. I’m so angry right. I almost slammed my phone. Fire that stupid fuck now.

Collins to the Cards, wonder if they realized Simmons is a fucking bust lol
I was thinking the same thing. Watched him play, he got rocked a couple of times.

Also lol the Patriots don't even have to trade for their next QB.
Wonder if the Pats were the ones behind the Mac Jones hate train pre-draft, making his stock draft.
I doubt it. Everyone knew Jones was their guys for months

Come on Teven Jenkins!!!

Yeah, I like him at G or as an emergency/plan B tackle if Peart/Solder don't work out (and if Slater is gone at #11). Possible trade down candidate who we target perhaps at #15-20.
I would immediately play him at Guard.

Looks like the kinda OL we need. Nasty!

The 2011 Giants won it all.
That OL was about on the present group's level.
NO way... Come on. I criticized OL in 2011. But this one is worse.

Honestly... and I know this sounds like a dumb idea... but I think his best fit is at center. Move Gates back to RG where he actually is a mauler, and let a smart as fuck, athletic guy like Slater call the protections and work to the second level.
Would suck to move Gates again but I think Slater is a really good tackle or guard, but an All-Pro center.
I was actually thinking the same thing. But I want a beast at the guard position. someone that's going to push people around.

Here is tape of him going against Chase Young

I think Henandez is now a bench guy until he gets his shit figured out, if he ever does which doesnt look good at this point
Lemieux stepped into his job and looked better despite being a turnstyle in pass block. Which is why I'd like to get a guy like Easton or Linsey (preferably) to replace Zeitler and then try to work out the other guard spot.
I have no problem with rolling into the season with Peart at RT, it's a strength position not a technique position and Peart should excel there. However as Shakes said it can't be the only option. Can we restructure Solder to be the back up RT? Do we bring in vet? Resign Flemming?
Right now guard is the position of need on the Giants, we basically need two starting guards either in FA or the draft (assuming Zielter is gone)
My solution? As said Linsey for 10 million a year (2 year 20-22 million) and draft Cosmi in round two, who has played both guard and tackle. Also go get Oday from the Lions.
We go into the year with Thomas/Linsey/Gates/Lemieux(Oday as back up/ Cosmi(Peart swing guy) I'd be fine with it.
But we need some depth behind Peart and Lemieux and guys who can start.
I was actually shocked Hernandez graded higher than Lemieux according to PFF. But the eye test showed other wise. I think the priority is the OLines this offseason. I'm sorry but the pass blocking was horrible.

Well of course he said this in 2019 when he had a grand total of 0.5 sacks where his value was probably around 6 million lol
After 2020 his estimated value is 20+ million lol
Personally... Williams was the MVP of the team last year. To me there’s no question. But I’m afraid he’s going to pull a Albert Haynesworth on us.

Honestly I'd be stunned if they don't take Sewell. Their #1 overall pick missed the second half of the season last year because of the bad o-line play and they've already got Tyler Boyd and Tee Higgins... not household names, but those guys are both above average players. What're you thinking they do?
I don’t think Sewell gets passed Miami or the Jets.

Hard to tell because our O-line was so terrible for most of the year and so were the WRs. Chase seems a lot like Dez Bryant though, and Garrett got a lot of good years out of that guy. He's got decent size and his speed is above-average but maybe not elite. He's a "do everything good, but maybe not anything great" kind of guy 'a-la Hakeem Nicks (who he also reminds me of a bit). Finds a way to get open and catches the ball once he is.
You think Cincinnati passes on Chase?

Free Agents
Nate Solder 4 years, $65mm
Patrick Omanah, 3 years, $15mm
Spencer Pulley, 3 years, $8mm
Cam Fleming, 1 year $3.7mm
Jon Halapio (minimum base contract)
Draft
Will Hernandez (2nd round, #34 overall 2018)
I swear to you. I thought Solder was going to come in here and improve this line. Nope. probably our worse player.

I don't know. The OL was awful last year. The running game improved a lot. But the passing game was awful. We also need a passrusher.
