Bumping this because Azeez Ojulari injured himself last Sunday and is considered doubtful this Sunday vs Arizona.

Safe to call him injury prone at this point.

Unless he somehow turns it around, this draft class is looking abysmal.

I'm actually considering calling him Mr. Glass.

I think that's generally true...not as bad as it seemed for is and not as good as it seemed for Dallas.

That said, I am not gonna sugar coat the line play on both sides of the ball as being anything more than absolutely pathetic.  And now, the pathetic players that started are injured in some cases, prompting a new, presumably more pathetic group to start.

I am not saying all hope is lost, but we have all taken a big step away from the sunshine and rainbows end of the optimism scale...and for good reason

That's not my issues... My problem is that after being down 16 points. This team had no fight in them. None!

We pretty much have no one else capable of starting at CB on this team, so yeah Banks and Hawkins are starting, alongside Jackson.

It's also one of the reasons I'm not incredibly high on this giants team this season. They'll likely have a leaky secondary, plus the OL is still going to be shaky far too often. Don't get me wrong, Banks and Hawkins could be great in time, but year 1 there's going to be growing pains.

Flock? Jackson? Adore played great last year… Flock played pretty good. Not great! What about Holmes?

I was thinking we really need another LB besides Bobby Okereke. Good low risk option to bring in Simmons, and he can play on passing downs as well, and in general to spell Okereke once in a while.

I realize McFadden is also here, but he's mediocre. Beavers is also unproven.

let’s see how he performs under a more aggressive style defense. But the simple fact that we got him for a 7th rounder is actually amazing.

  5. The key for this team to flourish, it’s for the offensive line to do the damn job. As bad as Neal was last year, the interior offensive line was even worse. Absolute garbage.

I would like to know the full backstory what happened with Toney. Usually a player doesn't force their way out unless they play in the NBA.

Sure… here it is. The guy was a bum. A bust if you will.

    WR/LB/Guard

Any of those just whoever is the best available.

Jaxon Smith or Addison are two first round WRs who should be there in the bottom of the first that would be day one starters on the outside.

WR Johnston out of TCU would be my first pick, however he will probably go in the top half of the draft, reminds me of Mike Williams.

IOL Torrence out of Florida is what? 6ft 7 350 pounds of pure "FUCK YOU" at the guard position, think he was one of the better guards grade wise in college too, if you put much stock into PFF.

IOL Bebe as well has playing time at both guard and tackle, would be a great pickup in round 2 or the bottom of the first if the WRs are gone.

I havent read to much into LBs but I know Simpson out of Clemson is expected to be a day one guy which his athleticism.

Now you're talking my language. O'Cyrus Torrence will be my first choice in the first round. Dude looks like a beast.
