  1. Eli was not lights out by any means yesterday. I love the fact he hasn't turned the ball over. Penalties were down yesterday which was huge. Eli got it done when he needed to. The Coaches need to become more creative and keep teams of balance. There is no reason why with the weapons this team ahs that the Giants shouldn't throttle every team.

Case and point, how about the saints game, Deuce and Bush in, Motion Bush fake to Deuce, fake the reverse to Bush, and whammo, TD pass down the field. Great play design. where is that creativity?

  2. I wouldn't say 'well' but I'd say so-so. 400 plus yards allowed by a 45 yr old back up is not acceptable. Good thing the Giants had 3 picks.

They threw the ball 61 times and were completely one dimensional. The Giants should've had six picks. Demps dropped one and McQuarters should've had another. I'm pretty sure there was at least one more that should have been picked.

  3. you need a good training regimen when you're on steroids. what do you think, the muscles just appear? your statement does'nt do much to disprove suspicions about rocket.

Well, considering he didn't blow up overnight and his weight gain was steady, coupled with the fact he's never failed a test, I would tend to think that that is pretty firm evidence.

  4. Did anyone see this clown today? His tie ended a solid foot above his belt buckle. He literally looked like a clown. One of you techno-nerds, find a picture from today's ESPN broadcast from when they were on the field talking about the stiff arm. What a Cowboy fruitcake. The least fashionable person who thinks he's fashionable.

  5. And the Red Sox are totally clean. Because they are the Red Sox. We don't have Sheffield anymore and you think Giambi (who can only hit one pitch one way and is slow as shit) is the most feared player on our team?

That statement concedes that Pettite has used steroids. He's never failed a drug test, nor has Clemens. One thing that Roger has always been known for is his training regimen. Giambi, I wish they would package him and Matsui and send them out of town

  6. They had better pressure Weinke all day long.

I also think they should pound Jacobs at Peppers for the entire first half to take him out of the game. Wear him down. That'll open up the pass game. It won't happen and if the Giants don't figure a way to nullify that freak of nature, it's going to be a long frustrating Sunday afternoon.

  7. He was never touched! We should've reviewed it. He rolled himself forward for a first down. Newman never touched him!

Hey Mr. Memory, his body was facing from where the ball had come from, and the ball was not past the line needed to gain. He kept rolling awkwardly toward the sideline, then his foot hit out of bounds bfore he thought to head upfield. The spot was correct.

  8. I agree and was screaming at the TV for that... Eli showed a little fire before that play. He might have gotten more fired up if he got the call and made it. That would have been funny to see....

Didn't he look awkward when signaling for the Giants to go for it?

Like a kid getting his first piece of arse...

  9. It can be risky... If the DB jumps the screen and the QB and WR are NOT on the same page, it's 6 the other way.

I do like the play, but I don't think Burress is the right guy for it, although he did make it work that one time a few weeks ago.

I'd love to see it done more with Moss... :TU:

    More? Period.

  10. That was a great play by Plax, but gateb is right, he's not good at making people miss and I've always said he is the softest "big" receiver in the game.

Oh, I'm not saying that Plax is a shaker and baker, but everyone on this board hates on the WR screen and it makes no sense. For a play that's supposed so risky, which it isn't, the reward pays great dividends.

Like I said, if the DB dares to start jumping the screen, a pump and go becomes effective, especially if the receiver and QB are on the same page.

  11. The only other time I've seen Plax juke someone out with the ball was against Philly last year on that 60 yard TD catch to seal the victory. He's not good at breaking tackles. That one play against Dallas on the road in 05 sticks out to me. The one before Shockey's game tying TD. He was barely touched and fell.

Ummmm, I want to say there was a thirty yarder he ran in this year no more than two-three weeks ago.
