  1. i say trade for soriano!

    what is there to lose?

Jeff keppenger(?) went out last year with a broken leg

anderson hernandez had only a single hit in 10+ at bats in a month.i dont care about winter ball

    and matsui sucks

Soriano and manny were supposed to be aquired for the mets last year and that never happened. besides i like hernandez i think hes good. i also agree wit gateb why waste the money when you have a prospect.

  2. Last year they upset #6 LSU in the first round losing to #3 Arizona in the 2nd round. The year before they had a bigger upset, coming out of the 8-9 game against Washington and upsetting favorite to win it Kentucky in the 2nd round. Capped by the highlight of one player getting an offensive board, and throwing the ball full court without looking to a teamate for a breakway dunk (and if memory serves they were twins)

Highlights of the last two years can be seen

wow thats amazing how you remember all that. :o:o

  3. Before you go out calling my posts... read the whole thing ;)

i quoted the wrong person i wasnt directing it at you i meant everyone saying it was a great idea. and still in january pitchers wouldnt be ready and it would almost be the same scenario.

  4. I would love this idea if it's in January. I wouldn't be worried if Delgado hurt his hamstring running down the line because he has two months to heal. Now I have to root for my guys not to get hurt instead of success.

why do you love the idea. you have pitchers that are not ready yet going up against all star lineups. Why would an all star play and risk getting injured? i mean this could even cause contract problems. I'm sure at least 5 teams will try to pass contracts saying if you hurt urself in the classic your contract is void. What that will lead to is either players not signing contracts or players dropping out of the classic. its also an obvious winner. if dominican republic doesnt win ill run around my town naked. . hold me to that.

  5. no....if the cowboys signed mIlloy they would have an overrated, aging player who couldnt hold Roy Williams jock....and lets not forgot that Roy Williams is VASTLY overrated...

i don't see how you can say roy williams is VASTLY OVERRATED. hes a great player. hes weak at coverage but he is by far one of the best safeties in football. he hits people hard, he stops the run, and ive seen him play good coverage.

  6. stupid drunk cowboys fan dont know chien miung wang is from taiwan, therefore he's taiwanese. the lowest era of starters will b, gonna go on a limb, carl pavano. his disappointing season in 05 will make him pitch to his potential. plus, small will mostly pitch in the bullpen unless injury puts him in the rotation

your attempt at humor failed miserably

  7. That's the world series. As far as I'm concerned, every world series game is the game of the century from the beginning.

The intensity of baseball in the stadium is not that great. At least not as good as football. I don't see the intensity of a Mid June game against the Dodgers or something like that. The only exceptions are pennant race games, opening day, and of course playoff games.

so your saying in the middle of the season even if they were both out (which could never happen) a red sox yankee game would not hav intensity?:confused:

  8. Unless it's the game of the century, I'd rather be home then watch a game in the nosebleeds in baseball. It's just not worth it there.

just to feel the intensity of the stadium and the game is so much more worth it. there was one game no matter where i sat i was happy. went with my friends to yankees marlins world series and sat in the 3rd to last row of the stadium and it didnt bother me only becuz it was a world series game.

  9. I went to that home opener... It was finally a warm day, the year before was hell

where'd you sit. i was pretty high up that game. they gave that huge ovation for pedro and beltran if i remember correctly.

  10. Yeah all 3 games are sold out, I got opening day and then I went for the Yanks and they were sold out already

i got tickets last year for the yankee met game which was the best one with a 11-10 finish and i got them 3 weeks be4 the game i was amazed they were still for sale at shea. cuz tanyon sturtze threw it too high over posadas head to end the game and that strike three on posada wasnt a strike.....at all. :TD:

  11. Here's something. It's 92 bucks per seat. Say I want to go with three other people. Then it's 368 bucks per game. 368 times 6 is 2208 bucks and thats a shitload of money considering it's only 6 games out of 81. And that's the best offer.

no its not its 90 bucks all together for all 6 games. at least thats the one i got.

  12. who will be the yankees best pitcher this year. i like the japanese guy chieng ming wang lol jk. wow ummmmmmm pitching isnt that great, again. chacon will prob hav the lowest ERA of the pitching staff.

  13. Gone already? :(

I actually think it's a bad deal. For six Mets game say with two seats, it costs more then Giants games in the six pack. I don't want to spend more on six out of 81 Mets games then 10 (including pre-season) Giants games at the meadowlands

but baseball has to be more expensive because it costs more to run a team and the game is longer. based on regular ticket prices its a good deal.
