at the time babe did it stadiums were bigger and he single handedly jump started the yankees franchise and all of major league baseball. has bonds' teams ever won anything? no hes been so selfish. id bet if you asked babe ruth (which is obviously impossible) would he rather win the world series and hit 1 homerun in the season or hit 100 homeruns and lose in the world series he would say to win. bonds is a selfish player who only cares about himself which is one of the main reasons for the roids.

pete rose should definitely get into the hall over bonds. as torn084 said pete rose didnt do anything to better his performance besides practice hard. Also pete rose is always a shaky case. there is more proof that bonds took steroids then that pete even gambled. im not saying he didnt but im just stating the facts. you also have to consider the different era's they played in, the teams they played on, the stadiums they played in, and the players and coaches surrounding them.

ya dont even think about sayin nomar. if you want to name a shortstop that was better then him u could find two. at the time of the big four in shortstops (nomar jeter a-rod and tejada) arod and tejada used to be better. now a-rod has moved to third and id prefer jeter on my team over tejada. u cant say hes the best of his era. unless his era is the past 2 years.

it depends who ur tradin for if ur trading for a thrid basemen trade a-rod if ur gonna get a shortstop trade jeter. personally i wouldnt even let the thought of trading jeter or arod cross my mind. they are both two elite players in baseball. they are a perfect combo. jeter gets base hits and comes up in the clutch while a-rod hits home runs and drives people in.

Have you been in the Mets section lately? Although I show much excitement over this amazing start, I constantly say that we do have issues right now. We all know that Sanchez, Heilman, and Wagner can't pitch 140 games a year. So we need to get deeper in the bullpen. Julio needs to shapen up.

 

Also, I know that we aren't going to hit like we have the last week or so. But I am hoping that we consistently put up at least four runs a game and have a solid outing by our pitchers to get to our very good bullpen.

 

We have issues, no doubt. But I'm feeling very good about our team right now.

i said met fans none in specific. ur not the only met fan in the world. if u were id be refering to u but im talkin bout most met fans. red sox and met fanss (especially met fans) care more about the yankees failing then them winning. of course the red sox are in the same division so u can expect them to root against the yankees but the mets need to be more concentrated on their team instead of the yankees flaws.

the mets pay so much attention to the yankees flaws they dont see that their team has plenty of flaws in itself. they see royals on our schedule and say its easy but no one notices that the mets play the nats.

wow great game. im really impressed by UNC i really think the first time Duke plays an ACC team in the NCAA tournament (if they get to face one) they will lose. they haven't proven they can do anything lately. i was very impressed by UNC and dissapointed in reddick and williams.
