  1. I think that has to do with the pressure of the Steelers D.
I really hate to say this but, the Steelers D is playing better than ours and their "O" is playing better than ours. Is this because of our players or because of our coordinators?

  2. How do I have a warning against me and U.S. Patriot doesn't?

Is it because his agenda is a homosexual one and mine is a straight one? I'm always being discriminated against.

It's because you posted a thread calling me a homosexual and were proven wrong. Now you can expect another contact with the mods because of this post.

  4. Seriously dude after this post here I am enforcing a "Do not reply to the juvenile punk" policy and I fully hope everyone else agrees with me.

Guys US Pat is anything but a Pat. He brings the IQ of us all down by even giving us his hate-filled speech to read. Lets just ignore him.

I am a Patriot and served my country as both an enlisted man and Officer in the US Army. You, on the other hand, didn't serve. so quit offering your opinion about me. All members reading this should be made aware that you didn't serve because you are a yellow bellied coward.

  5. Can you just leave now?

Seriously no one will miss you.

No!!! The opinion of a Canadian firefighter means nothing to me, so screw you. This is a thread about an American team, so give your opinions on Canadian football teams.

  6. DURH lets sit Plax, our biggest threat in the endzone.

    Shit call too.

This just shows how stupid Toxic Tom is as a head coach. He doesn't play Plax from the start because he didn't follow the instructions of Toxic Tom the Dictator.

  7. Or maybe it's not a joke. Maybe, just maybe, the Steelers are a better football team than the Giants.

While it wasn't impressive, they did manage to steal a victory from that powerhouse football team in Cleveland.

And they didn't need overtime to take care of the Bengals.

And they have been working with their 3rd string RB.

And they're Superbowl winning QB does have more TD's and less INT's than Little Manning.

In fact, his passer rating is better than Little Manning. Though, that says very little in light of the fact that 14 other QBs can say the same thing, including the likes of Phillip Rivers, Kyle Orton, Jeff Garcia, Chadd Pennington with all of his recieving weapons and, no surprise here, Tony Romo... :o

Maybe, just maybe, the Steelers will make that Monday night game in Cleveland look like a walk in the park... :chair:

You insultingly call the MVP of the Super Bowl "Little Manning". You say nothing about Romo the Homo, your favorite qb, who won't play with a minor injury. Oh well, what else can be expected from someone who has shit for brains.

  8. I don’t know. Both Hixon and Smith both seem to have great hands, something I think Toomer lacks, btw. Both seem to be smart, and on the same page with Eli most of the time, too. Only their run patterns are different. I like the way Hixon goes down field, though, and that’s why I think he’ll be our #1. Not to take anything away from Smith, of course. I like the way he always knows where the yard marker is, and how well he plays the clock.

I do know one thing. Together, they make Burress and his BS obsolete.

Anyway, Smith for drive saver, and Hixon for TD maker.

I'm still waiting to see what Darcy Johnson is made of. :brooding:

No matter what fans say or think about our receivers, the person who must make the decision to use them is the offensive coordinator. Gilbride, IMO, needs to re-evaluate his opinions. Will that happen or does he believe that isn't necessary. Maybe Tom should give him some counsel.

  9. Not an overeaction, exaggeration or whatever you guys might throw out there, but right now, is there any doubt he's the most valuable wideout we have.

Plaxico has not played up to par, sure he has 2 TD's in the last 2 games, but for a guy who is supposed to be our deep threat, he has given up on several plays downfield when Eli has gone deep. He's played a lot better when hurt.

Toomer overall has slowed down, not running good routes at all. This first 6 games have been Amani's worst stretch that I've ever seen him play.

The whole "it's only a matter of time before Boss picks it up", to me is now officially a problem. He's blocking well, but every tight end in the league, good or bad, should be averaging one catch a game.

Hixon is much improved, but he's still got some way to go.

This offense right now is mainly a short gain offence, and if Smith wasn't as good a route runner and as reliable with his hands as he is, we'd have a fucking hard time moving the ball at all. He alone IMO is keeping the defense honest and that alone helps the running game.

I don't know what Dwayne Jarrett is doing in Carolina, but I think we got the best USC WR that draft.

I think that our OC doesn't know how to call plays that will advance the ball and he doesn't realize the talent he has in pass catchers.

  10. Anyone else notice that the only time a player like Hixon or Moss or Manningham get balls outside of starting for injured guys is on those lame short passes?
Our OC is not a great coordinator. He sucks and we should consider replacing him with a knowledgeable and competent one.
