I see- so while all the rest of the Giants show up in NJ, Plaxico and Shockey feel they don't have to and they can work out where they wish. Forget the fact that Coughlin and Eli asked them to come to NJ - they are too good to work out with their teammates. There is another receiver in the NFL that does the same thing every year - Terrell Owens.

As I said before, the real "pukes" of our Giants are named Mara and Tisch. They keep this fool around despite the fact that they could replace him instantly. Getting banned from Giants.com only proves that they were intelligent, charismatic and great contributors. It doesn't matter if you don't 'feel' inferior to the FAB 4. Carbo, you just don't know the background of Liar Lockfart. Let me tell you his history on the other Giants mb and here. Last year he stated that he was a star wr at a prestigious college and he loved burning white cb's. When asked on innumerable occasions to name the college and when he played there, he always refused. Thus, Liar Lockfart is his name. When J. Shockey, last year worked out in Fla., all the Liar could post was lies about Jeremy not really practicing but going to bars/clubs and getting drunk. He was infactuated(sp) with Jeremy. Here -, Liar continues to harp on Jeremy. I have asked him many times, if he was such a great player, why was he not drafted into the NFL or even the Canadian League. The character that Plaxi and Stockey have shown towards the young QB is unprofessional and unsportsman-like. In 2006, Plaxi and Stockey must improve their character or face the consequences. Plaxiglass isn't a 23 year old youngin full of testosterone, he is 29. For a 29 year old to show the unsportsman-like character during game-day towards a young QB is embarrassing to the fans, coaches, players and rest of the organization. Plaxi & Stockie must either learn the concept of the word 'team' or don't show up for game-day.

 

Their embarrassing behavior is even more magnified when you factor in their teammates and how they react to the same situations. Tiki Barber is one of the classiest football player in the NFL. It would be logical for one to assume that the two malcontent would be motivated by Tiki Barber's handling of a rough situation. Not the case here. In the midst of grooming a young QB, two players have been very supportive, Amani Toomer and Tiki Barber. It's no surprise to the Giants fans that Toomer and Barber have never thrown a hissy fit at Eli for overthrown a ball or a no thrown pass.

 

It's time for the two malcontent, Jeremy Shockey and Plaxico Burress, to stop playing selfish ball and start playing as a team.

 

2006 is their last chance to improve their character and be part of this team.

Carl is so damn smart, not only was he a great player, but he was a smart player. He knew where to be and more specifically where to be playing opposite LT, he knew the lanes to stay in and the routes to take and hardly ever(MNF 88 RANDALL notwithstanding)never missed a sure tackle.

 

Anyway listening to Carl break down football I was reminded of something. When the NY football Giants win, they win with defense and a good running game. Thats the type of football I long for, power on both sides. None of this bullshit putting all the pressure on the QB and high flying offensive players. Having them is nice and no doubt an offense that can make plays helps, but in the end, playing in Giants Stadium and th NFC EAST it comes down to smarts and smashmouth.

 

Another thing Carl said was that he was as impressed if not more so with ELI than he was with Simms back in the mid 80's in terms of his ability to make plays. Solomon Wilcots tricked him into saying ELI is more talented than Simms ever was. I take everything Carl says as gospel and IMO this is a guy who knows football. Why I say this is that he has never been afraid to criticize the Giants as well. Time to build a defense boys, one that punishes and manhandles the opponents. When this happens(as Carl pointed out)the Giants could become a dominant team in the NFC

What we really need is for Carl to be on our coaching staff. EA should have hired him as Head Coach instead of " Don't be on time- be early or you are late" Coughlin. Then we could have attracted better assistant coaches than StupidNagle and Loser Lewis. No good assistant coach want to work for Coughlin

We can't just ban someone just because we don't agree with their views. But we can for spamming. And if they continue to spam with out bringing something to back their views. I will ban them.

Just how much more spam from the fab 4 must real Giant fans have to endure before enough is enough? Their single mindedness about 2 or 3 Giant players is evident and should be grounds for their banning. Again I ask, how much is enough? If I start a poll asking if other board members want them banned and a majority of members reply in the affirmative, will you ban them?

Will the talent this player has overcome his bad boyimage, both on the field and off the field? I think that he might be worth a 4th round pick to some team like the Packers (if Bret plays this year).

Stop blaming the offensive coordinator for Jocobs inability to hold on to the ball and run the ball correctly. Jacobs is nothing more than a short yardage back and special teams player - period. The OC cannot make a star out of a so-so player. People keep blaming the OC for Eli's collapse and Jacob's inability to gain one yard and his fumbles. It is Elli and Brandon that are failing on the football field, not the offensive coordinator and blaming the palys called is just being delusional and avoiding the truth.

BTW, why, if you were such a star, were you not choosen in the NFL draft? Also, why didn't you play in the Canadian League (if the NFL didn't want you) or the Arena Football League? With the exception of the couple of fumbles and the fact that he hasn't yet figured out how to lower his shoulders, I like him. I understand why they don't use him often with Tiki playing his best game at the moment, but I'd still like to see him in there for a full series that is NOT starting on the opponents' 3 yard line. For a guy his size, he's fast as hell, and to see him break one for 60-70 yards would be a thing of beauty. If given the chance, I think he'd do it.

The role that Jacobs will play this year is wholly dependent upon the game plans developed by that fool of an OC, Stupid Nagle. There is much we don't know about the abilities of Jacobs, such as his ability to catch a ball. I guess by the end of training camp we will have greater knowledge of what he can and can't do. At least I hope so.
