Ehh...now having watched more film of him, I'm not so sure he's ready to start day 1 in the NFL, like Luck. He's going to need to put together a good string of games against Big 10 defenses, and we'll have to see how he handles himself in pressure situations. Even if he does, I'd still lean towards sitting him behind Eli for a year (which is very possible), like Mahomes.

 

Speaking of Mahomes, Will Grier from WVU looks a lot like Mahomes and is rising fast. He's a guy to watch.

Lock is the guy I have heard compared to Mahomes he has a bigger arm than Grier. Grier probably more like Baker

Nah. They have hit on draft picks outside the 1st round, but you can't trade your 1st rounder every year. They've traded their first rounder in 2014, '15 and '16 you can't build a team by dumping your 1st. Then reached for Penny this year when their oline is awful I mean Germain Ifedi makes Ereck Flowers look like Walter Jones.

The whole secondary needs to be revamped anyway. Who do you build around? Collins?

They'll be fine. They'll have a QB on a rookie deal, still have two years to worry about Shepard, still have four years to worry about Engram, three years to worry about Tomlinson. They have a potential out with Vernon next year that will save them $11.5 mill Carter on a rookie deal takes that spot

 

Where do you get Hernandez being a disappointment? Dude is a rookie and has had solid play so far... Steward is the one that didn't make sense... age is always a factor in the NFL.... Omemah doesn't bother me as much because we brought someone who was as bad as the guy we let go... not worse.

He's looked meh. He has 1 tackle through three games, Moss, Wynn, Carter have all looked better

Martin should be on here over Ogletree. He's probably the 5th best pass rusher on the Giants and for some reason got guaranteed money. Ogletree is a thumper not a coverage LB Collins will be more of a in box safety and take care of those coverage issues
