  1. my point being, that it clearly shows that my thinking is not that coordinators need to be treated like guys working in an office, since the large majority of them are let go in the way I prefer.
  2. And coaches are fired at a much higher rate than they resign.
  3. you’re acting as if what they did was standard operating procedure in the nfl, it’s not. Most guys that are let go are simply fired, not weirdly pushed out. so you are wrong, what I want is the coordinators to be treated the way we always did things, and how the rest of the nfl has always done things. if this is the common way it’s done, and what I want is some weird business office shit, then where are all the other coaches we fired this way? I’ll wait.
  4. Ok, you decide what I’m thinking, clearly I’m not the one who knows what’s going in my brain. Besides the fact that we have never fired a coordinator this way before. Wink must be the first coordinator in the nfl who isn’t some dude in an office. but by all means, You tell Me what My opinion is. and yes, we know that. https://x.com/jordanraanan/status/1745164495352119511?s=46&t=B-wvlAsauGwtGs1QZIT5Bg confirmed by Stapleton as well
  5. no. part of the argument for not firing him was to be able to keep him out of the division. Him simply resigning would mean the giants could keep him from coaching in the division. I wanted them to just fire him meaning i obviously didn’t want them to control where he goes. And dude, come on, a few hours ago you thought coaching staff salaries counted against the cap.
  6. Lol so all that and they still can’t control where he coaches next.
  7. no I’m not evaluating it like some dude in an office, I just have a different opinion than you do.
  8. is that really how you want our team to operate? Play games to force people to quit when we want them gone instead of just doing what every team has always done forever and just firing them? I certainly don’t.
  9. I wasn’t giving Schoen’s opinion, I was giving my opinion. and someone doing the things you say, deserves to be fired.
  10. why fire him? Because playing games like this is dumb, just fire the guy and move on. Who cares about John Maras money, who cares where he goes to coach.
  11. it doesn’t count against the cap.
  12. Link to the guy saying it was fake? I haven’t seen that.
  13. You want to keep him still?
  14. Just fire the guy then.
  15. Either way, we aren’t interviewing Tom Cable.
  16. he was fired in 2021, after his unit gave up 40 sacks.
  17. what is it about Foreman’s 425 yard season with a 3.9 avg that makes you want him?
  18. If that story is true. and you said “forcing him out”. If they want to force him out, just fire him.
  19. “Normal nfl stuff” is firing a guy when you don’t want him to work for you any more.
  20. Besides, Kafka is the coordinator who deserves to be pushed out.
  21. Johnson should have been gone in season, probably made it the whole year because of his friendship. I wouldn’t want to work for someone who uses passive aggressive tactics to get people to quit.
  22. I hope Barkley returns. He would be a great help for a rookie qb.
  23. hey it’s just my opinion man.
  24. because there have been multiple reports that it’s because of a rift between the two of them. it doesn’t look good when you retain a guy and he says “no, I’d rather not”
