Coughlin discussed for the first time why he is impressed with Wing, the second-year pro who was acquired yesterday in a trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

 

Left-footed, hang time, distance, and location, Coughlin said. Impressive grades coming out (of LSU). Punted for a season and had the kind of things that we would like to be able to do in terms of directional punting and all that stuff.

 

Wing will also be the holder for Josh Brown’s field goal and extra point attempts.
