BleedinBlue
DL Kelcy Quarles, South Carolina DE Emmanuel Dieke, Georgia Tech LB Dan Fox, Notre Dame (so the Giants have 2 out of 3 of Notre Dame's linebackers from a team that played for the national title) DT Eathyn Manumaluena, BYU (say that name 3 times fast! write up on him here: http://www.vanquishthefoe.com/2014/5/10/5702554/2014-nfl-draft-eathyn-manumaleuna-signs-with-BYU-cougars-new-york-giants) DE James Gayle, Virginia Tech (bad info - did not sign with Giants) Very curious about what the Giants plan on doing about the TE position. Do they have more faith in Kellen Davis than I do? Do they think Adrian Robinson is finally ready to contribute? That is the only real question nagging in the back of my head at the end of the day. updated 5/10/14: TE Xavier Grimble - USC (Big tight end (6-4, 257) never lived up to expectations at USC. DE Kerry Wynn - Richmond Strong end with good length (6-5) who had 2 1/2 sacks his senior season. LB Justin Anderson - Louisiana Lafayette (A smallish linebacker, 131 tackles -- 11 for a loss -- his senior season) S Thomas Gordon - Michigan (5-11, 210-pound safety started 11 games in 2013 for the Wolverines 58 tackles, including two for a loss) S C.J. Barnett - Ohio State (Team captain LOL - played in 45 career games -- 37 starts -- and finished with 224 career tackles) updated 5/12/14: DE Jordan Stanton - James Madison (6'4" 262) converted OLB
Bigblue25
Grimble is a good move TE for McAdoo's scheme. I wanted the Giants to draft him.
BleedinBlue
Added DE Jordan Stanton to the list according to Ralph Vacchiano's twitter James Madison outside linebacker-defensive end Jordan Stanton had a private workout last week for the Philadelphia Eagles, according to a league source. Stanton had a follow-up call with the Eagles' linebackers coach. The 6-foot-4, 262-pounder has also drawn interest from the New York Giants, Houston Texans, San Francisco 49ers and Indianapolis Colts. The All-Colonial Athletic Association conference defensive line selection had 56 tackles, 11.5 for losses and eight sacks last season. The converted defensive lineman pulled his hamstring during his first 40-yard dash at his Pro Day, but bench pressed 225 pounds 18 times, had a 29-inch vertical leap and had a 9-7 broad jump. He's fully healthy now, though.
