Shit starting pitching. Inept offense. Now even the bullpen sucks (outside of Mariano) which is like 2007. Hovering around .500 and really getting nowhere. Relying on Home Runs. I wish I could enjoy April. As a Yankee fan I've had my fill with embarrassment.

I should have said of the last 5 years. 2004 is still brought up by the media constantly. My team didn't make the playoffs last year either in the last year of a stadium that's seen a lot more than Shea did. I wouldn't call the Royals not making the playoffs an embarrassment.

again its relative and cyclical. You could go 20 more years with no titles and still not have a shred of embarassment for your franchise
