Ditto
In the Yankees’ application, the team is asking for another $259 million in tax-exempt bonds and $111 million in taxable bonds, on top of $940 million in tax-exempt bonds and $25 million in taxable bonds already granted for its $1.3 billion stadium. The Mets are requesting an additional $83 million, on top of $615 million already approved for their $800 million park.

Ditto
How are the Yankees classier than the Mets? Well, you know, but this isn't about that. Is Citi, or whoever going to sponsor your park, fronting that much money to put a name on it?

Ditto my good man, buildings and land holdings are what the Wilpons(Fred) have made their fortune in, its only natural that Freddie and Jeffy Poo would be shrewder in how much money it costs to build the new stadium. Now if we were building a cruise ship for each team, well then yeah the Steinbrenners would be more fiscally responsible, but we are talking real estate, something the Wilpons know all about. Ditto
You mean the Wilpons have experience in cutting corners?
xxi-xxv
You mean the Wilpons have experience in cutting corners? They are real estate developers, what do you think? Speaking of cutting corners look what they did with that bullpen last year? They cut the corners and all 4 sides as well.
