feefifoefum
I checked out Delgado's stats, and there is a huge difference in his day/night numbers. Day games: 112 AB 33 H 9 HR 26 RBI .295 AVG. .352 OBP .616 SLG. Night Games: 179 AB 34 H 4 HR 18 RBI .190 AVG. .283 OBP .291 SLG This does not include today's day game, in which he hit another HR. Is it possible that he is just having trouble seeing the ball at night?
gateb
it could be that, and it could be that he plays the night before and he can't handle playing less than 24 hours after a game. i think it could be a mix of age and eyesight. probably age. But his numbers are much, much better in day games, not worse.
