Giants sign running back

The Giants signed RB Danny Ware off the Jets practice squad today, the team has confirmed. The move will be announced shortly. It's unclear at this point which player will be cut or placed on injured reserve to clear a roster spot for Ware. It's possible RB Derrick Ward, who fractured his fibula on Sunday against the Bears will be placed on IR.

Also, the team worked out former Pro Bowl S Robert Griffith, according to someone who speaks to members of the team's front office regularly. The 37-year-old Griffith, who previously played for the Vikings, Cardinals and Browns, left without a contract, according to the person who requested anonymity because the team doesn't release its workout information.

Griffith was brought in because the team is looking for possible veteran help for a secondary in which both starting safeties -- James Butler (hamstring) and Gibril Wilson (knee) -- are battling injuries. Coach Tom Coughlin is hopeful Butler will play this week, but Wilson's status is unclear after he missed Sunday's game.

Our upper management actually too into consideration that a 37 year old Safety would help the Secondary? God damn might as well called Deon Sanders. Hiring Old Qb's out of the nursing home may be helping Arizona and helped Carolina some, but a Safety? Jesus Christ thats the best they could find? What the Fuck Were they thinking?

Does any one have a link to the waiver wire ? I just want to see who is out there that we may be able to get tto come in and help our secondary. Maybe a RB too. WR also.
