According to local news reports, the fire was reported to the Watkins Glen Fire Department at approximately 8:45PM. No one was inside The Glen Club at the time and no one has been injured as a result of the fire. Witnesses at the scene say the building appeared to be completely destroyed by the fire. At this time, there is no report of damage to the track. No word yet on the cause of the fire. Track officials said they'd have more on the investigation and a report on the damage later Wednesday. The frirst racing event of the 2007 season is June 9, the Sahlen's Six Hours of the Glen. NASCAR Nextel Cup at The Glen is scheduled for August. 12.
