  1. Pretty much man. He hasn't taken very good care of the ball this year. Nicks definitely isn't the same and that's certainly hurting the offense but it's something we have to deal with for the rest of the year. I expect a big rebound from him next season with his free agency coming up. Our third down defense killed us too. Atlanta was 9/13. That's going to happen against a good team when you can't generate a pass rush. Yesterday sucked but big picture win out and we're in and we've still yet to have a losing season during Eli's tenure. Maybe things won't break for us this year but we'll be alright. We have a coach, a quarterback, and a good talent evaluator in Reese.

Love it. Thats how you put things in perspective RunIt.

  2. True. On that deep ball that was just out of Nicks' reach, a year ago that was 6 points.

I am starting to wonder if it wouldn't be best to just go with Cruz/Hixon and get Nicks some more rest. He's not quite the same guy out there...

    Ding ding

  3. Didn't Antrel Rolle start his career as a corner, aren't we a little thin at corner right now, but hoenestly we have some guys who can come in a do the job at safety and perhaps shift mr motivation back to corner to help out. Will Hill, tyler sash are a little better cover at safety, then uummm Justin Tryon?

Why is Keith Rivers taking up a space on the roster right now?. Seriously has anyone done less this year?. Honestly Paysinger and D"quan Williams need to see the field as much as possible IMO, both guys are busting their humps.

Justin Tuck is my favorite player on D, but let's face it. He shouldn't be edge rushing right now. He and Joseph should be the 2 down linemen, with Canty and Bernard spelling them. Tuck should be powerful enough to get a push up the middle and leave the edge rushing to JPP and Osi and possibly another guy such as...............

.......Kiwi. Seriously, has there ever been a player so bad utilized in his entire career. This kid has shown he can rush the passer and that his best play always occurs at the line of scrimmage. Yet we need linebackers so we convert him, and frankly he's so ineffective, and it's not his fault. Blitz, rush, play the run, the guy can do it. But we never put him in a spot to do it, and it's baffling to me.

And lastly, does Corey Webster think he's a rookie, because he looks like does.

Excellent thoughts. Especially Kiwi. Corey thank you for your service. I hope one day you return to sign a one day contract and retire a GIANT. Now get the fuck outta here. Gilbride cant make changes on the fly and because he's been on both SB teams he isnt going anywhere. Eli looked liked he didnt wanna be there today and thats just unacceptable when your first throw from srcimmage is a fuckin INT. Tuck needs to get off, or on however you wanna look at it, the anti depress meds. We need the following in this next draft:

    2 corners

    2 OL

    2 LB

Now wether there is a mix match of FA's or draft picks thats what this team needs. And Fewell NEEDS to SIMPLIFY the DEFENSE. Or call better plays by studying more tape, IDK. All I know is is that this game was a joke. But this is what happens when you lose to Philty early in the year from a stupid fucking 30 yard go route on 3rd and short. Then lose to the Skins because your sloppy false starts and butter fingers wouldnt stop all night. Those are the 2 games I am most furious about.

  4. Someone need to immediately smack Webster in the back of the head and remind him that he's supposed to be a shutdown cb.

Its true. Its sucks too because its so unexpected. He has been beyond solid and almost the biggest un-sung hero we've had and this year he has been a shell of himself. We're countin on yaa Web, step it up.

  5. Based on the chart that tree posted, one could come to the conclusion that the Atlanta Falcons (the team the New York Giants play this Sunday) could have benefited from a somewhat softer schedule compared to, well, every other team. You could further conclude that they are not as good as their record may indicate and some might go as far as to say they are fucking frauds who will get ass slammed by the Giants.

And it's a great point. But how far back does this go? I got confused by that i suppose.

  6. Yeah, no telling how the fumble-TD drive would have ended up, but I have no fear of the 'Skins in the redzone. As far as I'm concerned, the D is responsible for giving up 13... and that should be enough to win.

If you want to talk temporary coordinator insanity, someone explain to me why the Giants ran the ball so much against a D that is only good at defending the run. Of all weeks, Gilbride, really? Because Eli could have gone for 500 yards at will against the defense.

let us not forget the offense did not do their part. 500 yards wasnt gonna happen. the whole game had its moments where you knew the Giants werent gonna win. dropped passes, drive killing penalties, routes 2 yards short of a 1st down on 3rd down, and it goes on. If we dont beat the Saints, season is as good as over.

  7. I just wrote a angry F filled post about Fewell but decided to quell it. then I started thinking does Coughlin ever rip into his coaches after games like this? I am felling very bitter about the way this game went.

Not for nothing but thisl loss against washington had nothing to do with the defense. The D could only bend and not break so long against them. This loss is all on the offense. And special teams penalties as well. So to say that you are pissed with Fewell is absolutely out fucking rageous. I expect better from you Lug.
