All of these QB's are Pro-Browlers, Eli is not too far off them. Obviously Peyton is the class of the league right now. But look at each one of these.. Eli compares pretty well. Should Green Bay have benched Farvre after his second year?

All it proves is that statistics doesn't always show the true picture.

  2. Maybe if we had a Quarterback that could throw the ball reasonably well [ at least as well as ROMO ], we wouldn't have to run the ball 20 to 30 times to gain 20 yards. This is a no brainer. Monday morning Arm Chair quarterbacks are always right. We didn't throw the ball enough or we didn't run the ball enough. Your choice. PLayers come and go, but the Giants will always be here. :)

  3. But I think we have reached a point now. If manning is having one of his BAD games, rather then wait for some late manning comeback that doesn't come anymore, he should be replaced at some point with JARED LORENZEN. It would be a tough decision by a team that gave up so much for manning, and might cost TC his job. But the time is here. We can't keep losing games with manning looking completly lost out there.

  4. Because someone who claims to have a vast knowledge of football doesn't even recognize when he is asking a question and properly puncuates it?

Here is a better question: Why is it that someone with a vast knowledge of football doesn't see that when we rush the ball more than 20 times we win, and if we rush less than 20 we lose, regardless of YPC? It is about keeping a defense honest and getting a rythem. 10 carries for your pro bowl RB is not giving him even a chance to get a rythem and open up the game.

OK, I will try again. If you look at the games where we rush 20 or more times a game, you will notice that we are gaining more then 1 or 2 yards per carry. When the ground game is working, you keep on running. when it is not, you have to STOP. Monday night was a perfect example. Tiki had no where to run. DITTO Jacobs. They stopped the run cold and made MANNING throw the ball. And the way manning looked, it was the perfect plan. In other words. THEY WATCHED THE BEARS GAME!!!! :furious:

  5. And you made this brilliant annalysis based on 13 rushes? How about the Bears game in which they ran 21 times and did very well doing so.

Running controls the clock, even when it is ineffective. Sonner or later, a back like Tiki will break one, that helps to swing the momentum. Running Jacobs would punish the defense and wear them out.

Then you didn't watch the same game I saw. Every time Jacobs ran the ball he was STUFFED. Remember the 3rd and 1. Thats why Eli needed to step it up. THE RUNNING GAME WAS STOPPED COLD!!!!!!!!

  6. God damn it Eli, get your head out of your ass and play like you were drafted to do!!!!!!! We have defended you long enough!!!! Now is the time for payback!!! YOU FUCKING OWE ME for all the wasted hours telling people on these boards that you are NOT a bust!! What the fuck have you done to back me up??? How am I suppose to defend you now???? Bottomline, you suck. Or at the very least, you've given everyone the impression that you suck lately.

These last 2 games were a perfect opportunity for you to prove you belong here, and you failed. Instead of taking an injured team on your shoulders, you decided to play like you were in IR too. (NOT THERE!!!)

Coughlin has decided to let you "play your way out" of this slump, and I agree. You don't get better with a clipboard in your hand, and there really isn't a viable replacement for you on this roster. (Although I saw Shockey throwing some passes yesterday, at least HE has fire.)

So I'm giving you one more chance..........JUST ONE. If you come out against the Titans like you did these last 2 games, I will have offically given up on you, and start hoping for your replacement. THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE, MF!!!!!!!!!!!

Plaxico......................shut up and make a play. Yes the touchdown was nice yesterday, I'm not saying you don't have the skills, I'm saying you don't have the heart. Fuck you and all your personal bullshit. SHUT THE FUCK UP AND MAKE A PLAY!!!!!!

Hufnagel will be out of a job after this season. The only reason it isn't sooner is the Giants don't fire people in mid season, but trust me you are GONE!!!!

    Ok, I've ranted!!!

Are you ready to admit that the BIGJEEP has deep wide ranging knowlege about the football Giants. :)

  7. :furious: This game was within 10 points until the last 5 minutes and the Giants only ran the ball 13 fucking times?

Only two "Drives" over 3 minutes... and 5 under a minute and a half?

Has a team Ever won a game like that? I doubt it.

Maybe the reason reason was THEY COULDN"T RUN!!!!

  8. Monday night was the icing on the cake for me. This guy just can't throw the ball. And if you can't throw the ball, you can't make it in the NFL. He's the opposite of peyton. What scares me the most is that the Giants aren't going to move on because of the price we paid for this guy. How many very good Quarterbacks are we going to pass up in the coming drafts because the Giants will be afraid to admit a Giants mistake. :(

  9. :o

coaches need to put him in better situations, let him do what he is comfortable doing.... go no huddle for a majority of the game, spread defenses out and let him pick them apart...

Lets look at that game yesterday..... yes he had 2 very very bad INT's.... but the receivers did have 7 drops.... add that to his percentage and then take away some attempts that would have been runs had the plays been converted and he had a pretty good day... YES he does need to play more consistent... but so does the entire offense.... someone needs to step up for the departed Toomer and the coaches need to turn Eli loose

If we can get Strahan and Osi back then i think we will be okay.... i mean we have had absolute zero pass rush the last 2 weeks... downright bad... and when you have a secondary as poor as ours we thrive 100% of pressuring the QB

The focal point of the offense needs to be Shockey and we need to do more spread form no huddle

    :LMAO:

  10. As far as manning "stepping up", that should have happened against the Bears. Lets all hope he plays better then he did against the bears. But with the defense starting to mirror last years disaster, it is starting to look like last year again with the pressure falling on manning to score points. And we all know what happened with that.

  11. You will see tonight, a good QB will bounce back and pick the JAGs apart! If I am right this KID is going to fold his tent and give us another STINKER, I am not NEG I sm sick of losing and always being made fun of because of the Giants.

  12. Can't wait for ''backup Romo'' to come to Giants stadium and get completely fucked by our D

Antonio Pierce will be licking his lips in anticipation of another pick or 2

Hopefully we will have Osi , Strahan and Short back by then !

lets hope Antonio Pierce is still playing by then. :(
