  1. I think we should get Moss WR, then worry about the CB position later... as for DT I hope Eric Moore can make some sort of presance... Toomer has atleast 2-3 years left in him, but in that 2-3 year process if we have Moss as 3rd for now, then when Toomer leaves we put him at #2, then that following year get another WR from the draft... here's the top 5 WR's in the draft

    Top 5 Wide Receivers

Rank Player ------School --------Height -----Weight 40-yard dash

    1 ----Chad Jackson Florida----- 6-0 7/8 ----------213 -----4.35

    2 ----Santonio Holmes Ohio State 5-10 5/8 -------178 ----- 4.40

    3 ----Sinorice Moss Miami (Fla.) 5-8 -------------- 185 ------ 4.37

    4 ----Derek Hagan Arizona State 6-1½ ---------- 205 ------- 4.46

    5 ----Greg Jennings Western Michigan 5-11 1/8 197------- 4.48

we realisticly don't know if he'll still be around, but I think he should... he's short and skinny, so I don't know what you guys think of him, but he quick and has great hands....

let me know what you guys think

    Not to mention the pedigree.

    Randy Moss

    Santana Moss

    Sinorice Moss

  2. gateb, I think it's best that you ignore these self-proclaimed football experts. When they try to prove something to you, the best reply that you should give them is 'If you know so much, why aren't you running a team?' That ought to keep these people away.

By the way, gateb, you're a better poster then these self-proclaimed football expert can ever dream to become. These people are just trying to get a rise out of you. They think they know it all, but in reality, they are just making stuff up in fine grammatical structure, tricking you into believing it.

Don't fall into their trap, because last I checked, they aren't employed with any professional football organization.

They are simply an evolved version of trolls. They trick you into thinking, by their superior grammatical structure and fine debating skills, that they know football. In fact, they don't know anything.

Gateb, I wholeheartedly agree with you that Chad Pennington was a good QB, a fine talent, that injury destroyed -- Definitely not overrated. Don't let these poopies tell you any different.

  3. He got too much credit for completing short passes? Joe Montana played in a system where he rarely had to throw beyong 20 or so yards (West Coast Offense, similar to what Pennington played in under Hackett), and usually completed 10-15 yard passes to Jerry Rice, and he's widely considered the finest to ever play the position. You can't fault Pennington for what system he played in, most NFL offensive systems rely on short passing and the occasional deep pass. What you can do is marvel at the efficiency with which he ran the system, and his effectiveness as a QB. You also have to respect his toughness, and his ability to guide teams into the playoffs, when he was healthy. As for injuries, you can't fault a player for being too eager, since the team decides when to allow a player back onto the field, and in Chad's case, it's apparent they rushed him.

You have gained 17 Elite Status points from gateb.

  4. It has been brought to our attention that the mic was not working so we will repeat:

During our recent absence during round 2, I would like to apologize on behalf of Bill Parcells and Jerry Jones.

Going against my decision to select a player with the capability of filling a multi-functional role that is so soley needed on our team, the Dallas Cowboys will select a the massive men that we call 'The Brick.'

If It was up to me, we would have gotten 'The Wall.' Unfortunately, I am unable to persue the gumballs in front office to comply with my suggestions.

It is in the best interest of the Dallas front office, NOT THE TEAM, to select Defensive Tackle Rodrique Wright to become our franchice puggy boy.
