I thought it already had gotten smaller.

But really, some of you guys need to get a grip. I'm sure JPP will be the fist one to tell you he regrets the decision to handle fireworks and is ready to grasp the opportunity this year. And I know Spags isn't going to approach the situation ham-handedly, either.

    :LMAO: :WS:

  2. True, but can we give Reese full credit for those 2 SB?

2007- No!!! That was the Team Ernie built.

20011 - Partial Credit- That team won more with smoke and mirrors and great coaching then superior talent.

  3. I'm honestly at a loss as to how anyone can think there wasn't enough talent on the field to win at least 4-5 more games when we were winning those very same games up until the last few minutes.

Depends on how you look at it Tree. I would argue it was fantastic coaching that even got us that close to winning those games in the 1st place considering the complete lack of talent across most of the roster.

  4. Williams has been on the decline the last two years.....and he flat quit on his team this year. Pass.

On the other hand, a receiver who I like and wouldn't break the bank: Sanu.

He was also Playing out of Position in the Ryan 3-4 try Defense when he is a 4-3 DE. Probably still better then anything we got on the roster at the moment except JPP.

Giants coach Tom Coughlin's entire extended family is at today's game at MetLife Stadium against the Eagles. Sources say Coughlin was calling family members this week and asking if they'd come to the game, though he hadn't revealed his plans to them as of Saturday night. All 11 of Coughlin's grandchildren were on the field before the game in sweatshirts that read "Coughlin Crew." It seems likely this is Coughlin's final game as Giants coach after 12 years and two Super Bowl titles. Giants ownership is scheduled to meet Monday morning to discuss Coughlin's future and other matters relevant to the team's future, but it's possible Coughlin makes it easy on them and decides to resign.

And Nassib fits what the Giants are trying to do better than Eli does. Not saying he has the acumen and cerebral ability to read defenses presnap (not that Eli has done exceptionally well with that, this year, either) but his mobility, ability to move in the pocket, throw on the run, and make quick timed throws is at or above Eli, right now. And that's what McAdoo, and this offensive line, is asking Eli to do. I have no doubts that Nassib is going to go on to be a serviceable quarterback for someone and if that someone happens to be the Giants, where he has developed behind Eli and with an offense that he "grew up" in, he might be more than serviceable for the Giants.

Eli is having on of the best stats of his career this year.

    Best completion percentage

    Best TD to INT ratio

    Most TD's

    Highest Rating.
