I would think practice squad this year. I've been impressed with him and wilkinson. They have both been making big hits and seem to always be around the ball. Emmons would have to go for mcneil to make the 53 man roster though.
-
This guy is interestesting because he won a National Title with Ohio State in 2002, yet had acedemic troubles and transfered to a small school to improve his grades.
Unless he trips up badly, will he be the ultimate find in this years camp and make the team?
what are your thoughts?
Coughlin has had nothing but praise and claims that right now he is the starting DIME back when they go 6 deep.
I really like this player, too. I would think he's a sure bet to make the team. I havn't heard one word of mcphearson, is he injured? But, we are stacked at cb. he would have to beat out frank walker, who made some nice plays in the first game.

Joseph showed great promise last year in the games he played until he got injured. and Why would we cut our starting DT when we're already thin at the position.

How are the Cleveland Browns anything like the Giants of last year?
A very promising quaterback. Good skill players with brayolon edwards and jurevicious. An explosive TE(you'll see)
A very underappreciated defense with a 2nd year coach ready to make a playoff push.
I don't understand how you can't see the simularities. i could go on more but i made my point.

Is this one of those Sarcastic Fishing posts? Because if it isnt, this list has to be the most moronic in a long time.
why? Becasue i have the balls to actually not pick the favorite teams every year. The NFL is known for it's parity. Any team can get in. Any dickwad could just pick the same 12 teams from last year.

Holy crap! I just realized you're expecting Seattle not to make the playoffs! I thought you wanted the Cards as a wildcard. There's just no way Seattle's not making the playoffs. Curse of Superbowl losers or not. They haven't lost coaches. They didn't lose too many good players. Alexander's legs haven't been amputated. And they are playing SF and the Rams twice. Even if they split with the Cards, they are more than likely going 5-1 in the division.
nah they'll finish third behind the rams too. trust me

I hate it when the Giants come out of the gate like they're SB favorites, then fall flat on their faces when other teams make a good game plan against them. Although not awesome, they looked really, really good on both sides of the ball. Even the big guy was running the ball well. The only flaw I saw was a little lack of pass rushing, which should improve with Kiwanuka.
What are you talking about? Green was put on his ass every single passing play in the first half. If your complaining about a lack of pass rush by 3rd and 4th stringers then ill take it.

just wait till chris chambers has a career year cause he'll owe it all to culpepper
I do think chris chambers is a very talented reciever, but most of culpepper's throws to Moss were just lobbed up becasue Moss can jump over anyone in the NFL. Culpepper doesn't have this luxury in miami so don't hold your breath if your expecting 'culpepper numbers'. He has the injury and new team excuses for this year, but in 2 seasons everyone will know what a mediocreqb he is.
-
Culpepper shouldn't have thrown an interception to begin with. And Hagan should have had better presence of mind to block Allen from the ball. Just a thought, if only we were that good...
Are you kidding me? Culpepper is a turnover machine. Without Randy Moss, he's garbage. hope you have someone over 6'5. Cause, if not, expect around 20 picks this year, if not, more.

sign me up.
Is this actually gonna be like a fantasy league?

As a Dolphins fan, I could never get enough of this guy. He comes out playing hard every week. Sam plays through injuries and he never questions the coach. He's an all around team player. Although he has lost some speed and is not quite as sharp at stopping the run, any Giant fan should be extremely happy to have him on the team.
As a giants fan, believe me, you'll be gettting ALOT of this:
Cornerback Will Allen did a perfect job of reading a pass thrown by Culpepper, anticipating the target and jumping in front of wide receiver Derek Hagan at full speed to bat down the pass. Allen probably should have caught the ball, and it would have been an easy touchdown considering the momentum he had built up. That’s the second near-interception for Allen in two days…lol enjoy

Ward out for a couple months, jacobs is practicing again i think, and snee is a couple days.
Even though Snee is probably our best and most promising lineman, i have no worries with rich seubart being inserted into his spot.
-
I think Isiah is finally starting to get it.
Jeffries can guard any player on the court. He's an underrated shooter and is a great pickup.
I also like what Mardy Collins is gonna do, he's also a pretty good defensive guard.
I think this move could actually put the knicks in playoff contention. Just get rid of francis and jerome james.
-
The only way he retires is if we win the super bowl.
Same with strahan, toomer, and feagles.
-
Here's the new one. It trashes Big Ben.
-
I have a feeling that Moss could possibly hold out. He was projected as a late 1st rounder and wasnt taken until the middle of the 2nd. I think he might want that first round money.
-
Crosby is better. His base running is better. his fielding is better. And when crosby is ACTUALLY GIVEN A CHANCE, he hits. he's not the kind of guy that can come off the bench, hen eeds playing time.

David Wright > Ryan Zimmerman
Davis Wright has 2 more years experience than zimmerman in the majors. Why don't you guys wait 2 or 3 years to compare their careers.
Chad Morton expendable?
in New York Giants
Posted
Even though Jennings had that good punt return, morton has been much better at returning punts this of season. I would think ponder is the odd man out, he is one of the best in the league, but being in couglins doghouse and performing poorly this pre-season hurt his chances.
Also, since ward is out for a significant amout of time, morton could plug into the #3 spot.
I'd like to see jennings on a KR with his blazing speed, but morton is the no doubt starter at punt returning.
