  1. Mix had some up side he was tall and has a big wing span who did we trade for anyway or did we just cut him? he did go to the Redskins did not play much and was cut on Saturday Perhaps the Redskins feel they have a better wr corps with only 5 receivers who knows .

London had more speed and better hands than Mix he was an upgrade to Mix (IMO) Put London next to Moss and I think he would beat Moss out . He is now 3rd behind Ted Ginn JR oh and his # is 17 he said he was out to take Plaxico's job ;) you know when /if he is asked about his # he will talk about plax....

anyway London>Mix I would of cut 1/4's to keep London if it was me London played on special teams and I am sure he could return kickoffs ... PLUS if Moss does not finally prove himself in this regular season we would have his replacement in house.

this London guy made a lot of good catches in training camp I watched him continue to practice after the team left and the fans ran away to get auto graphs. He has a great work ethic

Sadly...if he's any good he probably will be number three...

But really no, he'll probably be the number 5 guy and we cut Camarillo (the guy who caught the pass in the Ravens game and won it for us :P). The receiver from Hawaii, Davone Bess, has had a really, really good camp to secure the number three spot

So I shouldn't expect much from this guy?

  2. Well there is a reason why he was a 6th round QB.

Pretty much from what I read, he has shitty mechanics and his throwing motion is more screwed up then Byron Leftwich(sp)

He'll be a Raven in a day or two

Cameron has a thing for collecting lackluster QBs

  3. I'm very dissapointed in Geoffrey Pope.

Pope's a bum...all he really ever had was his forty time, which I think was somewhere in the 4.2s or low 4.3s? He couldn't even make it in Miami last season before you guys picked him up

on another note, why was Woodson cut?

  4. The thread says "as backup QB"

He can come back up a guy who has started every game the past 3 years. If he is "dropping back" as you pointed out there will be more pressing issues as to his mental state, like "when is ELI coming back?"

you missed your chance to land Cleo, albeit the Jags signed him for way too much. Don't fuck up now with our other castoff

  5. hahaha good luck with that boys.

The guy is 5 sacks away from losing it. Not to mention what one more concussion could do. Do you really want that hanging over your heads everytime he drops back? It was bad enough dealing with it this year.

  6. I disagree.

You can't call him a steal, the guy hasn't played protective football in over a year. It's not risky at all and could have a decent reward, but as far as I'm concerned he's just the next Emmons/Arrington/Spikes to enter the East. Nothing but a name.

Wade will most likely try to incorporate him the same way he did Donnie Edwards, when those two are two different players.

Zach's a good player, but I remember Dolphins defenses doing great in the first half of the year and then falling apart in the second half. Zach was a part of both of those.

ok, can't really argue too much there

As per the last part of the season, its called...THE DOLPHINS CAN'T HOLD THE BALL ON OFFENSE FOR MORE THAN 15 MINUTES IN THE GAME...meaning the Defense plays the other 45 minutes (obviously exaggerated, but you get the point). Any defense would wear down after a season like that, not to mention a 34 year old line backer.

Also, Miami had a top 5 defense in terms of yards 2 years ago, just the offense sucked. Not for nothing, and by no means am I a homer, but Thomas anchored the good Miami defenses of years past.

  7. Cowboys got a steal with this guy. The two teams I didn't want him going to were New England and Dallas...oh well.

I think in Week 5 (the same week that Trent Green went down with concussions) Zach got in a car accident and experienced hardcore whiplash. He suffered migraines for the rest of the season and barely returned much the rest of the way.

If he can avoid the issue, Thomas will be a monster for them. He's still got a motor on him and he wants to win a ring before he retires. He's a very classy guy and saluted the Dolphins after they cut him.

Please have Jacobs take it easy on the guy.

  8. I'll post here what I posted in the other thread about this

    wanna hear something good?

One of my clients works for the New York-New Jersey branch Of ESPN and came in the other day. He was telling me about a competition for people to come up with a name for the catch and that the winner will go on TV. If you guys come up with something really good, let me know and I'll hook you guys up.

  10. The Dolphins better fuckin love us. To the best of my knowledge, we're the only team that has helped them twice(98' vs Broncos)

oh we do :TU: I can't thank you guys enough. I love that commercial too, it caps the whole thing.

But I cannot stand the way the 72 Fins talk. I don't mind their champagne parties, but Mercury and Shula coming on every week on ESPN is very repetitive and annoying.

Here's to the population of Perfectville staying at 1. Here's to the New York Giants

  11. Okay maybe I overreacted a little. I congratulate the Giants fans. I am not going to take crap from fans of other teams that this proves the "Patriots suck." Which others have posted, not here, but on other MBs. So I overreacted a bit b/c you are Dolphins fan.

    Ok. Misunderstanding. No big deal.

Again, as you've seen, I mean all respect towards the Patriots, and have defended them in other threads, nowhere sighting they suck.

  12. Did the two of you read any part of the last reply I wrote? I'll rephrase

    A. I was congratulating Grey for owning up to his loss. Its a tough thing to do and as you've seen Badegg blow the joint after the Boys loss so it's a compliment.

    B. I was adding a spot of humor to the situation. Obviously, my team sucks. My team won't be good for a minimum of 3 years, probably closer to 5. There was no mention of Miami in the thread, nor of any other team aside from NE or NYG. It was merely a joke between 2 teams in the same division. Jeez guys, chill out

  13. whoa whoa whoa Hold up Kid.

You are not riding our shirt tails!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what are you some kinda Leach?

Hoodie is congratulating us GIANT fans on our team beating his team the PATRIOTS. IN SUPERBOWL XXLI

There was only one Dolphin there to night to accept some trophy your team did not Beat the Patriots and Put A Perfect end to a perfect season.

Not at all Lug, I called him a good man for owning up to a loss and congratulating the victors

I merely added in the last statement to throw some humor on b/c my team sucks.

I'm not trying to short change you guys at all.

  14. My congratulations was direct to the Giants, not the 1-15 Dolphins.

Patriots and the Giants are hardly arch rivals. We don't play often enough to form a rivalary.

And I don't really consider the Dolphins much of a rivalary either. Maybe Parcells will change that...but right now Pats rivals are Colts, Chargers, Steelers and maybe Buffalo. Without a wholesale improvement of your pathetic fish you team is not an challenge to the post-season and certainly not in the post-season.

Don't be confused, by my post the congratulations was directed to Giants fans not pathetic Jets and Dolphin fans who bandwagoned.

wow Grey...way to be a prick. I was trying to be lighthearted about this all. I could go on and on about the choking in the last game, the Cheatriots, Spygate, or the pathetic teams of the 90s, but instead I lend a joke to a dismal season for me and not the best night of your life either.

I guess you don't know what a rivalry is do you? You go to any Dolphins-Jets game- two of the worst teams in the league- (which I was at for the last few years) and you'll find the same level of intensity that you see at any other rivalry game. Don't kid yourself Grey.

Bandwagon? :LMAO: WOW THAT'S A GOOD ONE!!! I hardly consider it bandwagoning to root against a division rival. I hardly consider it bandwagoning to hope the best of good friends around you who donate their lives to the following of their teams. I hardly consider it bandwagoning to want to see a feel good story and watch the underdog come out on top.

Hate to break it to you asswipe, but this season means exactly the same thing to both us NEITHER OF US HAVE A RING TO SHOW FOR IT Sure, New England had one of the best seasons of all time- and go check the other threads where somebody slammed them for multiple reasons while I, the

    pathetic Dolphin fan
defend them as easily one of the greats.

Get a fucking life. Learn to see where people are coming from. Sure, you may get some respect from the other guys on here for being a man and owning up to a loss, but realize that saying shit like this is just as bad as abandoning your team

Oh and by the way deuchebag

Nothing in the this world is perfect, except 1972 17-0 bitch

    17-0>18-1*

  15. nope. even if they won.

they didn't dominate teams the way the 18=1 Bears did.......nor did they win the SB.

they didn't remain undefeated thru the SB the way the Dolphins did.

They didn't make it through a season without being proven to be cheaters.

I disagree completely. If we consider "dominate" as a win by 17 or more points than

    Week 1 38-14 (Jets)

    Week 38-14 (San Diego)

    Week 3 38-7 (Buffalo)

    Week 4 34-13 (Cincinnati)

    Week 5 34-17 (Cleveland)

    Week 6 48-27 (Dallas)

    Week 7 49-28 (Miami)

    Week 8 52-7 (Washington)

    Week 11 56-10 (Buffalo)

    Week 14 34-13 (Pittsburgh)

    Week 16 28-7 (Miami)

And then even in the Conference game, they didn't even allow a TD to San Diego, despite them missing LT.

That's 11 out of 19 games...more than half. It's hard to argue 50 TDs by Brady and 23 of them to Moss. Even as a Miami fan, these numbers are staggering. And the fact that they didn't score less than 34 points until Week 9 vs the Colts is also amazing.

While they're not among the best SB winning teams, by all mean, they are one of the greats all time

  16. You and Nick and Mercury and all of the old Dolphins can break out the champagne one more time. Congrats on the only perfect season.

nah, Mercury can got drunk with his buddies and his old basset hound. I can't stand the guy. Once on ESPN would have been funny, but there were about 4 interviews during the season and he was on ESPN 5 minutes after the game!!! come on, enough is enough.

I'll drink with Jim Kiick anytime though :TU:
