  1. ill repeat for you...you are a know-nothing...a nobody...a non-athlete with zero athetlic ability...your attempts at being edgy make the FAB4 only feel pitty for you...now run along and put on your mothers black eye-liner sit in the corner and loathe yourself...

Making claims about someone's offline personality is pathetic unless you actually know anything about it. Which you don't.

  2. the FAB 4 are always a step ahead...its this kind of thinking that makes winners...it may not always sway with the popular opinion, but it is always thought of with the Organizations best interests at heart...if you can upgrade a handful of positions at the cost of 2 unhappy players, why not ??

You're going to upgrade seven positions with rookies? Idiot.

  3. Hey I'm a big fan of the arts I wake up every morning to Elvis singing Viva Las Vegas !!!!

I'm sure you'll get a lot of laughs with this gem. This oh so cynical personality you're trying to master behind the anonymous internet-mask is almost successful!

  4. No I don't Maxx. One other thing. People who enjoyed reading Wuthering Heights or what ever that nonsense is are complete nuts !!

So, according to you: people who enjoy a piece of classic literature are nuts; people who have an emotional attachment to a bunch of sweaty men holding each other are able to call them "nuts" with a straight face?

    :LMAO:

You're becoming more comical with every post.

Oh -- And I'm not surprised that you're unfamiliar with Wuthering Heights, considering how ignorant you are toward art and literature.

  5. So true Max. I suppose you're still wrestling with a sexual proference as opposed to a personality however. Very upsetting. Don't fret, the Fab Four are a very understanding lot and do not discriminate. Open up we will listen.

I don't think I've ever had any uncertainties with my sexual proference, but the fact that you brought it up speaks volumes about yourself.

  6. Very well said but your preaching to people who can't grasp the team concept. These same minds are the ones who crave attention at any cost even at the expense of family and friends. It's a sad commentary on the generation of athlete we as fans have to deal with today.

The combination of low intelect and loads of money produces prima donnas like our friends in South Beach.I for one endorse doing without them and getting guys who will play as a team. They can't produce in the big game so they return to ghetto antics like throwing ice and footballs into the stands and sulking when they don't get their way.

You "as fans have to deal with today"?

    :LMAO:

You don't have any inherent duty to the sport or the team. So stop pretending as if you're some sort of victim for taking an interest in something that you've never contributed to, or have any control over. You don't like it? You don't have to watch; that is, unless you enjoy finding excuses to feign cynicism and shape a personality.

  7. Last night, I watched the Giants-Eagles game at the "Linc". Not only did I find the game incredibly boring, but the whole emotional affilition with a group of men fighting over a ball seems lame. Sure, they're incredible athletes, but what they stand for is something salmon slap themselves to death in. I'm sure you're having a lot of fun absorbing yourselves in this stuff, but I really can't stand it anymore. Meh.

  8. we had areas of concern that needed to be addressed, primarily CB and DT...CB was addressed, but only in quantity, not quality...DT was a forgotten area...there is no way we can be competitive with William Joseph as one of the starting DT's and trial by fire as to who the other would be...

    :LMAO:

The way you contradict yourself for the same of maintaining your character is comical.

  9. it is wishful thinking, but a draft day deal to move up to acquire LB (and teamate) A.J. Hawk is far fetched...if the FAB 4 were calling the shots, we all know who would be dangled out there for takers in order to put us in position to scoop him up...so whats the next best thing...

Bobby Carpenter, LB Ohio State 6-3, 255 (4.66)

    Overview –

Overshadowed by teammate A.J. Hawk, but just as versatile and almost as explosive. Carpenter can back up all three spots in the linebacking corps because of his size/speed ratio. Relentless in pursuit and tough with good athletic ability. Very well-rounded as a player and shows the tenacity necessary to be solid at the next level.

    Against the run –

Carpenter’s size allows him to hold up well against the run. His technique could use some work and he needs to get stronger, but there is no denying the stats he put up as a Buckeye (over 200 tackles in 26 starts). When he gets his hands on a ball-carrier the play is over. Lets blockers get into his body, but that can be rectified with coaching at the pro level.

    Against the pass –

For a man his size, Carpenter has excellent hips to turn and run with tight ends and backs in man-to-man coverage. Gets very deep on his drops and shows good instincts in space. As an edge pass-rusher, Carpenter shows a good burst to get to the quarterback and a solid spin move. Needs to work on more moves to be successful at the pro level, but has good instincts as a blitzer.

    Personal -

Is the son of Rob and Susie Carpenter ... his father played at Miami of Ohio before going on to play professionally with the New York Giants ... has three younger brothers, Jonathan (a sophomore football player at the University of Cincinnati), George and Nate ... enjoys bowling (best game is a 240) and playing pool ... also likes to play the piano (took lessons for six years) ... two of his uncles played collegiate football (one at Northwestern and one at Kent State) ... favorite pro athlete is Lawrence Taylor ... enjoys playing chess ... would like to follow in his father's footsteps and be coaching his high school team in Lancaster in 10 years ... top memory from 2003 is beating Kansas State in the Fiesta Bowl ... the "Tunnel of Pride" is his favorite OSU football tradition ... would play basketball at Ohio State if not on the football team.

    Sucks.
