osi had a great game on D and McQuarters seems to come up with one or two big plays every week.

believe me nobody wants to see this guy healthy and tearing it up more than I do Gmen. I just worry about how beat up his lower body has been with to the best of my recollection:

turf toe

gimpy knee

ankle sprain

stress fracture on foot

all hitting him at one time or another

i don't think you can question Shockey's heart or desire but he has been extremely fragile his whole pro career and no longer has any explosiveness in his cuts and patterns. Sure it's his ankle this week but the point is that it is always something.

I suspect that sadly his best days are well behind him.

if we commit 10 penalties, miss our field goals and turn the ball over a couple of times it won't matter.

This guy is not going to provide us with anything this year no matter what they do. Maybe they will place him on the practice squad? I don't know. He will not be able to contribute with out practicing though.

given that Sinorice can not get out of the tub I don't see how Carter can be anything other than #3 unless Tyree upsets him. Tyree IMHO is way more of a gamer. Carter is a nice practice player who never shows up on game day. the coaches don't seem to see it that way though

I don't know about the Skins, but do you guys realize what TO is going to do for Dallas? Anyway, I don't mind going into the season as underdogs. I can do more gloating if we pull it out.

absolutely agree that dallas upgraded more than any other team in the division. Not sure why everyone is blowing the 4skins. They basically added a #3 WR, a coach and Archuleta. YAWN.

They might be thinking that we might continue in our good season/bad season tradition. On paper, we're as good as anybody.

don't know whether they are thinking this or not but much like you, I am. Call me crazy but I do not believe we have had back to back winning seasons since '93 and '94.

If Webster picks it up our secondary should be okay. I actually think DeLoatch can be an effective db as well if he can just get a bit smoother out there and remeber to turn and look for the ball at some point.

Joseph, if healthy, can have a really good year IMO. He looked like he was coming on last year prior to the injury.

The only surprise about Green getting cut was that it happened this year instead of last year. This guy was absolutely useless as a player for us and a distraction off the field. GOOD RIDDANCE Barret.

Personally I would like to see them re-sign Greisen but he does have a history of being hurt so we can't over pay for him either.

I think we should look for solid depth at LB and Safety in FA with out getting caught up in chasing after over priced "names".
