Two last games of the series. I just got my HD back and this horrible streak happened when I lost my HD channels. I am superstitious but this one is ridiculous but I thought I'd share. This team has to get back to basics and stop swing at shit out of the strike zone. The quest to the playoffs start tonight. Lets Go Mets!!
I dont want a Wild card Spot........I want the Division Title...But ill take the wildcard if we cant Comeback and win the EAST...The Phillies are swingin Hott bats and idk if they will Lose anymore games this season........SO the mets Gotta WIN we cant JUST HOPE for the PHillies to LOSE........and our Bullpen should be ASHAMED.....i mean for CHrist SAKES THEY are Professionals..........IF this season ends with another Collapse THIS TEAM needs to start RENOVATION.......LETS GOOOO METS DONT BREAK OUR HEARTS AGAIn
-
I think we might be in trouble......that three game lead was for a coushin For when we play the Fuckin Cubs not the shitty ass braves and nats......What happened to the Clutch david wright??????????? This is REALLY BAD.......my heart will shatter if we dont make the playoffs.......Finally Murph Gets his chance to break this Slide....I think the collar is getting a little tight. -

Much like the team should do(and they are) we should keep it real and NEVER forget that disaster of 2007. I keep hearing how privately the Phillies feel in a big spot they are better than the Mets. Well guess what? we are 10-5 against them this year, have taken every series and have a real chance to make a move this weekend. Lets do it and then go destroy the (as Keith Hernandez would say)second division teams.
I hate to say this but we are a different team than last year......we are beating the Phillies when we have to Hopfully we can win the series this weekend.......The Mets starting Pitching is SOme what healthy,We have A better Mixture of young and Veteran players kinda like The 86 team, and we have JOHAN......I believe this team is making a Push kinda like the Ny Giants last year.. this TEam has Destiny we are coming together at the right time.......LETS GOO METS YA GOTTA BELIEVE

It's been a while since he has gotten a count 2-0. He does well after 0-2. Seems like he always gets a first pitch fast ball every time and he swings right through it.

You posted a "1." , with a .5 game lead. I don't recall seeing a "2." in any of your posts last week.
Maybe bad karma made the Phillies cough up that lead tonight.
Feel free to follow along.

Wonder what you guys were saying when we came back from a 7 run deficit to still kick your ass? Funny how that emotion slides under the carpet until your boys come back and win the next day. Typical. Just like all Mets fans left CBP with their tails between their legs, Tues. night.
Go ahead....curse the Phillies. We all know that you do because we are the threating team. Curse all you like. Afraid of the Cubs? Like we were afraid of the Dodgers...ha.
Cubs 83-50...........Dodgers 65-68......The phillies are not very threating of a team unless we are playing in your Little leauge Ball park you Yahoos have in philly.......and considering your team hasnt won a series v.s. us all season hmmmmmmmmmm thats pretty threating
-
Come on... Don't play me like that.

Ernie isnt our GM anymore buddy...............Its Jerry and STrahan is under contract with FOX theres no WAY he is coming back we are fucked

According to Adam Rubin of the New York Daily News, Orlando Hernandez is opting to have surgery on his right big toe to remove a bunion, meaning his career is all but over.
El Duque has resisted this procedure in the past because it may take more than a season to fully heal.
Hernandez left his last outing on July 18th for Mets Double A affiliate Binghamton after only one inning citing discomfort on his foot.
I got this off MLBtraderumors.com
