JMFP
http://www.nj.com/giants/index.ssf/2014/11/giants_snap_counts_seahawks_damontre_moore.html All that talk about more playing time for Giants defensive end Damontre Moore and wide receiver Corey Washington appeared to be little more than hollow chatter based on the final results in Seattle. Washington, one week after catching four balls and a touchdown pass in limited playing time, did not log a single offensive snap in Sunday's loss to the Seahawks. Moore played just three as the Giants defense was obliterated on the ground for 350 yards rushing. On one of those snaps, the pass-rushing specialist dropped into coverage. Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson completed a key third-down pass in Moore's zone. The Giants fell right back into their pre-bye ways in Seattle. Preston Parker played every snap as their third wide receiver, and had a strong game. He caught seven passes on seven targets for 79 yards and a touchdown one week after dropping several balls and injuring his foot. Moore had his fewest opportunities this season because of the Seahawks' success in the running game. The second-year player is not known for his run-stuffing ability. Mathias Kiwanuka (40) and Robert Ayers (32) handled most of the left defensive end duties, while Jason Pierre-Paul played every snap on the right side. It was the first time this season Pierre-Paul didn't come off the field at all. Other notable snap count observations: • Rookie strongside linebacker Devon Kennard played 22 total snaps as the Giants were in their nickel formation (three cornerbacks) close to 70 percent of the time. • Newly signed cornerback Chykie Brown snuck onto the field for six snaps. He was active ahead of Mike Harris, who was signed off the Lions practice squad several weeks back. Jayron Hosley took a majority (42) of the nickel cornerback snaps. • Both Quintin Demps and Stevie Brown played some at free safety. Demps was benched for part of the contest and finished with 28 snaps. Brown had 35, although some were in three-safety looks. • Defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins (calf) was used sparingly. He played just 18 snaps. OFFENSE LT Will Beatty 68RG John Jerry 68LG Weston Richburg 68C J.D.
