fringe
Each year good, playoff caliber teams show a major weakness that, if left unchecked and unsolved, will eventually lead to their downfall. In 2002, it was our kicking game. In 2005, it was our lack of linebacker depth. Last year, it was the secondary. ------ This season, I think what will ultimately be our downfall is our failure to score in the red zone. We show a lack of originality in play calling and, it seems, no one is addressing this. It's a formula for disaster. I know I've been saying this all year but it doesn't change. So, it seems the best we can do is a combination of Droughns up the middle, and the dreaded fade pattern. This will be how our season ends, this will be this years Trey Junkins: Trailing by less than 7, with less than a minute, we will be stopped on 4th and goal from inside the 5.
