since last year's super bowl, there was nothing but talk about the amazing giants, and how they should be #1 in the power rankings, and are the defending champs, and are rolling through, and are the team to beat...

 

now that it is playoff time, single game elimination, the bravado has suddenly gone and the discussion has turned to this being cake and gravy and all is well since it is just great to be a part of the postseason...

 

you can be realistic, and acknowledge that repeating is extremely difficult - but to say that you are happy to just have a winning season and another SB win would just be gravy is weak...especially after all the talk up to now...

Excuse me, Mr Hotdog...I like to keep my "bravado" close to the vest, as I believe that being a loud-mouthed fan before the game is played brings you a ton of disappointment. It also gives people such as yourself the opportunity to shove "cake" in our face if we do not continue in the playoffs. I for one refuse to give you that pleasure, sir.

I was just discussing this with my buddy here yesterday. No disrespect to this year and if we repeat, it would still be great. But NOTHING can top last year. The way it was done, being underdogs, all on the road, losing to the boys and Pack in the reg season and then them being our two opponents en route to the SB, etc. It doesnt get any better than that.

Somebody said it already...this year is pure cake.

I'd love to win two in a row, because this team has never done it, and if we don't, yeah I'll be a little bummed. But the Giants proved they weren't a fluke last year, they've stood up to being the team to beat this year, and they'll be legitimately in the running next year as well.

 

You really can't ask for more than that as a fan.

Nas , Ggirl lives in the Philly Area now that's all she will here for a week straight. How the Eagles will beat the Giants and how they are just like the Giants of last year, wrote off but on their way to winning the Superbowl and McNabb is a God and he got benched just so he could recharge his batteries etc.etc.

Undoubtedly. I was just commenting on them whooping it up like they just won the SuperBowl; instead of squeaking one out against the second team. And with just about every flag going their way. I think TC should have just let them kick it through without the timeout. That would have shown the contempt factor a bit more.

The quality of this team showed today when they played their starters against the second and third team players of the Giants. THEY SUCK !!!!!
