  1. Unless the Cowboys lose this week to the Saints and we beat Carolina, gotta root for Dallas when they play Atlanta.

Saints will beat dallas. they have hard hitting d backs, big fast receivers, and breeze is on fire.

  2. I didn't want to draft him, but that's because I thought we had other needs.

He fucked up some last week.

And he dropped the ball today that cost us.

Yet, something tells me that this kid is going to be huge for us in the future. His speed is amazing, and he's an explosive rusher. if this guy gets experience, it could be watch out. He's way ahead of Strahan and Osi as rookies.

I don't know, anybody else excited about this guy?

Yeah I like him, but somebody needs to tell him to play till the whistle blows, and after an intercept don't try to be Tiki.

  3. I know we've lost 4 in a row, but yesterday's game was different than the others. The team played with great effort, and that is the reason we had a chance to win against a very good team. If you took yesterday's game and separated it from 3 prior games, to me, there are some encouraging signs. Eli looked good. We got some defensive starters back. The Giants lost because they shot themselves in the foot. I know, it's the same old story, but there is always hope that they can stop beating themselves.

I guess my point is this: I can't take this losing and I'll say anything to make myself feel better. :cwy:

If the receivers will keep giving the effort they did sunday, and somebody, somewhere can do something with these d backs we will be fine.

  4. Just observe how blanketed our receivers are.. always. It seems opposing recievers always create seperation giving their QBs a huge window to throw the ball to.

Eli's regression has much to do with his top receiver giving half-assed effort, his 2nd WR is gone for the season and we don't have a 3rd who can hold on to the ball.

This is what boggles my mind, I cannot remember when the last time I saw a giant receiver come back for an under thrown ball or move for an over thrown ball. Good teams have receivers to play for the ball, don't just sit down on a hash line or sideline and say ok iv'e done my job throw me the ball.

  5. Tom C. blew and should never have gone to the rookie so soon. NFL network were talking about it they also said the Eli is not and Elite QB just because the Giants were stupid enough to pay him as one. When sold the farm on this guy and we are stuck now, the Gints should draft a QB and have a real backup, what if he is hurt????

Here a quote from the post:Today, after seeing the Giants slide from 6-2 to 6-5 as their quarterback, The Wrong Manning, appeared to be falling apart in the second half of the season for the second consecutive year while all his coach could do about it was holler that he shouldn't have thrown a killer interception late in the game, they seem lost. The games. The Giants. Most of all Tom Coughlin.

hey cowboy, where do you get this we shit? Eli don't play for Dallas.

  6. Ok so we lost 3 games in a row and chances are 2 of out those 3 we shoud've won (Chi & TN). Remember the high we were on when we were 6-2? Now suddenly we suck? You know what, I can't think of any team with more injuries than ours that has better success.

But anyway, it's like everywhere I turn all I see how doomed we are... for life. For god's sake if these past 3 games showed us anything, it identified the imposters on our team and coaching staff. And I don't see how we can't get rid of them in the offseason.

But back to my intention of creating this thread: Am I the only one here who believes we can and will beat the Cowboys on Sunday?

You know how I hate negative threads, but I have to say there is no way we beat dallas unless the receivers come to play, and I don't just mean plax all of them, they have to make the hard catch. Eli's confidence is at an all time low because of recent play, negative press and the team trying to implode. It will have to be an all out effort by all.

  7. 1. Who thinks the boys blow us out?

    2. How do the cowgirls come with a Brady look a like for nothing?

    3. When will Eli start to blow it early or late in the game?

    4. This is it the end of my rants and you guys I know hate me, but it the cowboys beat the giants sunday, I will be wearing and Cowboys hat for the rest of this season.

Have you ever noticed cowboy, how many response you have to all your negative post? Well it's a little less than one per post, that should tell you something.

  8. At this rate Emmons will need a pectoral muscle transplant to keep playing. Carter was, is and always will be a project. And Flaxico can go peddle his bullshit somewhere else.

I agree 150%,these receivers for sure should be run out of town with a bullwhip popping in there ass every ten foot to make sure they don't slow up.

  9. I think your right Gilbride is the QB coach, but I think Eli is fading because he has no arm, and can't make the throws they put him in, theroutes are all wrong. The first half of Tenn game they were short passing routes and a quick feed game then they blew it Hufnagal is a jerk he has to pull his head out of his ass

Eli has got plenty of arm, and what you don't know about football with your negative bullshit would make a big, big book

  10. Bottom line, the guy is till playing like a rookie and making rookie mistakes 36 games into his career. How about throwing the last ball away? Stop making excues. Eli needs to start producing. Period.

What will help this team more than anything is good receivers that will go get the ball. I don't care who the qb is he needs help, lets take a typical pass play, after two running plays, and a ten yard penalty, a pass is called , plax runs a fly pattern ( he don't like to run slants and get hit ) and rarely can he out jump or out run a d back. Carter stands ten yards downfield and never moves, dosen't try to come back for the ball just fuck it. schockey goes two yards over the line of scrimmage and wants the ball when you need fifteen. what would you do throw it out?

  11. Opie Cookie Puss and Coach Cheerleader are cut from the same non-descript mold of talking without saying anything. :P

What is your fucking problem? you have 352 post in 21 days, and every damn one have been negative.are you sure you are not from Dallas, Washington or maybe Philly.

  12. So now we're hearing about Romo and Rivers. And now suddenly Eli Sucks... flat out. Well let me tell you that as almost each and everyone of us was happy to get Eli with that trade with SD.. and hardly any of us knew who Rivers was... I'm still standing by my QB Eli Manning.

The comparisons drawn to rivers and romo are unfair to say the least. Any observer of our games can see a trend. Eli might've been struggling but it's hardly all his fault. Our receivers are not getting open... no seperation... giving him very little room to throw. Our D can't stop anyone with all the injuries we have and if Eli and the offense are on the sidelines, there isn't much they can do.

Ever since Luke went down, Eli has been looking over his shoulder. It took that brain fart OC of ours an entire week to figure out BoB Whitfield needs help. The Jags shut down our running game making us one demintional and therefore predictable.

I'm not throwing the towel on the kid. I haven't forgotten his TD pass to Amani Toomer against Denver and I sure haven't forgotten his great moments under pressure including that amazing performance against SD in that hostile environment. I'm not jumping ship on the kid and if this ship sinks I will sink with it.

I will not accuse anyone of being a fake fan because I don't believe anyone here isn't a sincere Giants fan. All I'm asking is for you to keep it in perspective and that this sport takes an entire team. Romo has Terry Glenn and TO.. who do we have? Plax? The I'll give full effort 20% of the time Plax? that Plax? Or Toomer whom we lost for the season? Oh how about I just made a catch so let me fumble it Carter?

I loved the kid when he brought us great moments in his very young career and I'm sticking with the kid when he's struggling.

A great post that tells the honest truth.

  13. I'm not sure if he's great. He's off to a great start, and he's played better than Eli since he's been in there. He'll come down to earth at some point, but if these last four weeks are any indication, he's gonna be a good one. Also, they've been rolling him out of the pocket pretty regularly, so it's easier for him to avoid the rush (good luck trying that with Eli).

My big problem is this: Eli has never, NEVER had a four game stretch like this. And seeing what we gave up to get this guy, and what the Cowboys gave up to get Romo, that pisses me off. :furious:

NO your big problem is you don't like Eli and never have. Eli has had nothing but negative press and a lot of so called fan reaction when he does not play well, and the reason why is the way he was drafted (like Elway) half the team is hurt, he gets fucked up plays given to him except when they are in no huddle where he calls the plays. His favorite receiver is out (in my opinion the best on the team) he had a good record last year a winning record so far this year with a beat up team.

  14. I was noting how he played compared to Eli.

Romo seems to have more mobility, a quicker release, and the ability to throw on the run. He also seems to be making pretty good decisions with the ball. He seems to have average mechanics, but a quick release. I'd say they both have average arm strength.

I can't really find an area where Eli outshines him, at this respective points in their careers. Eli seems to have a slow release, average arm strength, makes dumb decisions (over and over again) and bad mechanics (the latter two areas is where he was really supposed to have a leg up on Rivers and Roethlisberger).

Romo is great, Romo is great, you will be hearing this shit untill he blows up, and he will as soon as the pressure gets to him. Dallas offensive line is much better than it was at the begining of the year, and the giants have gone the other way. Dallas receivers are fast and they don't stop working to get open.

  15. Guests in the booth is a bad, bad, bad idea. I hate it. I don't care if the game was good, bad, or whatever. I'm watching football, not a talk show. And while you bring up Jay Z, you can throw Ronde in with that too.

I agree, and while your throwing throw Joe brokeleg's ass out, he hates the giants.

  16. I'm not upset that we lost... I'm upset the way we lost.. Tim Carter fumbles, Eli throws a horrible under-thrown pass to Plax, the lack of rushing attempts, and the horrible decisions Eli made... I saw 2 recievers open when he threw that int. in the first half... Gerrard flat out played hands down superiour football compared to Eli.. even the passes that were incomplete for Gerrard were nice passes

Would you rather have Garrard than Eli?

  17. To much has happenedthis season to make assumtions. Lets face it here fella's, we dont know what the fucks gonna happen. And if you think you do, you really dont.

Settle down men, the giants will make the playoffs, and hopefully in the second half the injuries will subside and they will be ready to go.

  18. I have to agree. Eli has been screwing up badly. But what I’ve been seeing the last couple of games, our receivers go out and stand in a crowd of defenders, and he has no one to throw to. We need some better play calling to open things up. Forget the long bombs. Accuracy isn’t his forte, anyway. Try more short ones, hitting receivers on the move before they set up in a pocket of defenders. It could do wonders for our running game.

With our defense banged up the way it is, we need to win these games on offense.

I posted this several weeks ago, I have never seen a group of receivers that cannot get open, maybe schockey and he is only across the line of scrimmage a yard or so, but at least he trys.
