  1. ...and they followed from the four corners of Tri-State and they offered up burnt offerings to the new born messiah who would lead them up out of the darkness of failed prospects, Dave Brown the Cryer and Opie Cookie Puss the Clueless. As they walked up out of the darkness there were shouts of joy and hosannas from the people to their Messiah.
    :P:clap:
  2. Coaching is certainly a big part of the problem. In fact, I fear Eli will be held back from the expected progress due to the piss poor quality tutoring he is receiving and the equally foolish play selection.

But Manning's problems go beyond blaming it all on the coaching staff. I watch him play and there is no fire burning. He seems listless and lifeless out there many games. And what should be evident to all who watch the games is that there is no chemistry on the field between he and his teammates. Hell, no one even talks to him on the sidelines. The respect isn't there, nor is the leadership that is required from the QB position.

  3. What's his problem? We watched him wilt like a tulip last year from around week 5. More of the same this year. He hasn't looked like a legitimate NFL QB in a month. But the good news is he is still ranked higher than future Hall of Fame QB J.P. Losman! (But J.P. has half as many interceptions).

  4. We are going to have to take a RB in there somewhere. Brandon is going to be our No 1 next year and we need a plan B if he gets hurt.
Derrick Ward will spell Jacobs next year. Besides, running backs are a dime a dozen, and can be had in the later rounds. The Giants need youth and speed at LB and in the secondary.
  5. There are so many needs on this team. But if it isn't obvious that the great gamble for Manning has been a bust, then you're delusional. The Giants need, first, a QB. Manning isn't the one. He is, again, fading with each successive game. The same pattern emerged last year. A fine first month of the season, and then a gradual but steady decline each week, culminating in a post season performance that set records for ineptness. Trade Manning for a pick, get a new coaching staff, and maybe they're out of the doldrums and back on track. If not, it'll be more of the same ol', same ol'.

  6. . . .You should watch what you wish for, the Mara's the run the show now are inheritors, not builders of this franchise, so you may just get something of a worse coach. . .
That isn't possible. Coughlin is the worst HC in the League, and the coaching staff he has assembled is a ragtag group of wannabe's. Until this organization cleans house, starting with the release of the entire coaching staff, they will be mired in mediocrity. It'll never happen, of course, as that would be a ballsy move by a very conservative, slow moving organization. But there is no team chemistry, no cohesion, and it gets worse after every bungled loss.

Jakk , you are a total moron .... please give up .... retire .... go away....i used to think you were a harmless comical fool ..... but you are infact worse than that ......please just disappear.... soon !
    I concur.
  7. Tom Coughlin is a disaster and reason numero uno why this team is a laughingstock. Coughlin has never won a Super Bowl, and never will. He can take a team only so far, and he is at that point with the Giants. Too bad for this team, because they can certainly be better than they are. But with TC, and the buffoons he has hired, a legitimate run at a championship is nothing more than a dream.

Start with a new head coach, someone young and innovative from the college ranks, and that's the first step towards the necessary rebuilding that the organization will require.

Then, they need to address the quarterback issue. . .ugh.
