  1. Not looking forward to it. If you guys dont sweep, I'll be surprised.

i don't know bro. although i honestly think the mets will take the series, it really doesn't matter what these teams records are when we play. it's usually always a good series. i remember in 99 the mets were off to a similar start like the yanks are this year and i think we swept you guys. that jumpstarted our whole season. i'm not saying that's gonna happen again, but it's definitely possible the yanks could win the series...

  2. Is the song not on that website anymore? I can't hear anything, and I can't find the song. The myspace link goes to an account that has been canceled. Guess the heat came down pretty quick. :o

i would trade milledge and heilman in 2 seconds for rich harden, not dan haren. heilman is going to leave anyway, b/c he is going to want to start, and he is a fucking child about it. secondly, he is just not consistent enough for me, and i think we'd be fine without him. that being said, i'm sure the a's wouldn't make that deal.

  3. Ahem:

MEZZAININE RESERVED SEC 10 4 IN A ROW

actually you're wrong golfin kid. b/c i myself have 2 mezz res. in sec16 row g and they are absolutely not obstructed in any way considering i've sat there before. the tickets i sold are in row m slightly obstructed, but it's a trade off b/c that person is going to be sheltered from the rain.

  4. I never understood why everyone wants Cower so bad. It only took him what 20 years to win the big one? Cower is considered a good coach, cause Pits never gave up on him. We should be so lucky to have so much loyalty to our coach.

i agree to some extent. the guy still posted a winning record almost every single year. and he is all about defense. i would love for him to come here. if i had a dream coach it would be bellicheck over cowher though...obviously.

  5. honestly, even if we make the playoffs, i don't care, i hope he goes. i like coughlin somewhat. he is a good offensive coach but he is an old school coach. and i don't think his styles meshes anymore with today's players. i just feel like he rubs them the wrong way and guys don't want to play hard for him. i hope the giants surprise me and have a fantastic season, but i still hope coughlin gets the axe. open up some doors, maybe even john fox if the panthers have a bad season again. i'd love to see fox back in here(even though he is not my very first candidate, i'm just trying to be realistic). whoever it is, it must be a defensive minded coach, in my eyes. so what do you guys think? will he be gone no matter what. or will he stay if we make the playoffs?

  6. trust me, he could still have some excuses left...such as having no one at left tackle to protect his blindside, which he doesnt...

ditto, let's hope diehl somehow puts it together...

  7. i was just wondering if you guys think he'll ever be as good of a hitter as chipper was/is. i'm talking power wise. i hate chipper more than anything but he is a damn good hitter. i only bring this up because there were a lot of comparisons when wright first came up. 2 years ago, if you were to tell me that reyes would be doing what he's doing, outperforming d wright i would have never believed it. i mean, i had high hopes for the kid, but nothing like this. i think most of us thought david was going to be the centerpiece of the club. i really think wright is going to turn into more of a jeter like player who hits for average, with decent power, which is completely fine by me, that is still very very good. i just wonder where his power went, or really if he'll ever develop into a power hitter. thoughts?

  8. wow, thats impressive...there were alot of great candidates for pitcher of the month in the NL...Im surprised Rich Hill wasnt mentioned

yeah especially cordero...10 saves with a 0 era...that's pretty fucking impressive. but fuck 'em. i can't believe the way the maine event has been pitching. i thought he would be solid, but he is definitely turning into a beast!

  9. I hate later games. I wont be able to stay up the whole night to watch this game.

i def hear that...i love this park though. i know the dbacks are much improved this year, but we usually light them up in this ballpark. i can't wait to get this shit started!

  10. If Feely had no leg, Matt Bryant was a paraplegic. As a Giants fan, I was extremely glad Bryant was given

the boot and I think 99 percent of Giants nation agrees with me.

I still didn't see jay feely making any 62 yarders..or 50 yarders either for that matter

  11. Took the words out of my mouth.

Matt Bryant was terrible, he could not be trusted with an extra point.

you know what fuck the both of you...i was just trying to make a point saying feely had no leg. dont call me an idiot bc u dont agree with me..i don't agree with a lot of your points golfingkid but you dont see me calking u out

  12. I'm assuming he will only be a stop-gap left tackle, the Giants need someone elite.

golfing kid, almost every team needs an elite lt...problem is most teams cannot get one, there hare hardly any elite lt in the game. i personally have no problem starting guy whimper over a 7th round scrub from the browns. if whimper isn't the answer, then fine, we can go after someone else, but i'd rather not waste my time with some browns castoff. you already know what he can do.

  13. The guy is an idiot....Every other site on the web sides ESPN gives the giants high marks...Seen nothing lower then a B and some sites gave us an A

who the fuck cares about mel kiper jr? seriously...and same goes for espn or whoever else. drafts on paper mean absoute shit for the most part. kiper and the crew were dogging us for not taking a lt. well, let me tell you something...if you can't get a blue chip ot then why waste a first or second round pick on one? i understand diehl isn't the answer, but we did take whimper last year. secondly, even the blue chip prospects like gallery and leonard davis don't work out a lot of the time. and what, we were supposed to take another lt just for the hell of it? what does that say about the whimper pick? even though, diehl isn't a long term solution, i do think he could play decent enough to hold us off for another year if he had to. this is where the "experts" are very wrong. they think they key to the g-men being successful is having a big time offense and eli turning into a prime time qb. while that would be nice, yeah, the reality is, if this team wants to do anything then we're gonna have to build a defense. that's the only way we are going to win.

  14. I think that perhaps, the NFL Commissioner has instructed them to use all the time so that the league gets maximum exposure on tv. I'll bet any member on this board would be able to make an intelligent decision on a pick in a lot less time.

    exactly....
