  1. No it doesn't, but in the case of Ewing, he was always considered a person who wanted tobe the focus, but face facts here, as much as I loved the late 80's early 90's Knicks, they had John Starks as the other focal point of the offense. If Ewing had Barkley or Pippen or someone like that playing with him, he would have deferred no doubt.

Not to mention that Alan Houston never turned out to be what he was supposed to be. Patrick deserved better, but we did get robbed when they didn't call that foul when Starks shot that 3 pointer against the Rockets. Patrick should have had one.... grr..

    I. Thomas should be shot on site for what he has done to the Knicks....

    As should Coughlin this year...

  2. I actually think we have a shot when we get in the playoffs, just because the NFC is horrible this year. There is no dominant team and everybody basically can beat everybody.

The question is, are we going to make it. Some people think that we are going to get 4 gimmie games. Even the "easy" ones are not easy this year.

  3. Yeah he is a media creation to a certain extent...kinda reminds of that scrub Boz who played for the SeaHawks back in the 80's. No way in the world did he want any part of a head on with Jacobs. Hell even guys like Harry Carson, Jack Ham and countless other all pro's never tried to tackle Earl Campbell without some reinforcements head up. There were a lot of shoe-string tackles with that guy. :P

Ha, Boz, Bo Jackson ran him over and basically ended his career.

  4. Yeah you are right. I forgot about Brad. What happened to him again; did he have to make a suicide tackle against an opponent where he tore ligaments or something. Or was his leg so overworked that it just gave out on him?

He had to make a tackle and tore up his knee like you said.

  5. This one was tough to swallow, but the injuries were the back breaker. Our defense went downhill on the play Madison tweaked his hammy. Lewis adjusted because Madison wasn't there. I am not a huge Madison fan, but we definately see a difference when he isn't out there.

Our Dline was gassed because there were no substitutions and the Offense was not buying them a break.

We are not as good with all these injuries and the Tiki thing will become a distraction. If we take a nose dive it is 2003 all over again. Fassel was basically fired for a year riddled with injuries, Coughlin should probably get the same treatment.

Kinda wish we hired Lovie Smith.... Let's see how General Tom handles this. We are still probaby the third best team in the NFC even with the injuries.
