I got flagged for 24 hours for the following comment:

 

"New Orleans had better flood control than the Giants message board. Someone bring in Ray Nagin...I think we need a chocolate message board."

 

For anyone on the Giants boards lately, the flood control has totally sucked. And anyone following the news would know that Ray Nagin made those chocolate comments. I thought was decent use of satire, but apparently I struck a nerve.

 

I'm interested to know if people think what I said rose to a remark that merited suspension.

The Jets absolutely stole this one out from under the rest of the League. This kid Clemens can flat out throw a football! He's got the live arm needed to survive in Giants Stadium. This kid will emerge as the savior of that franchise within a year. And how embarrassing will that be for the Giants as the highly touted Manning is still learning not to throw off his back foot.

Eli is the real deal this Clemens kid should be OK, but Eli is a true franchise QB. There will be no compairison.

Obviously you have no idea about the Jets. There is no savior for the Jets, and as soon as they see one threatening to become one, they trade him.

 

The Jets rarely have bad drafts. But the Jets rarely keep those picks any longer than 4 years. The franchise sucks!

There is no way we go to a 3-4. We do not have the NT and is would neutralize the effectiveness of our Pro-Bowl DEs. We are a 4-3 and we are going to stay that way.

Thanks--figured it was time to bite the bullet. It is safe to say I am horribly addicted to Giants Football and I am currently going through withdrawl. :brooding: I'm hoping between this board, the old Giants board, ESPN, SI, and the four papers aday I can get my fill. I am in Jersey, but just out-side of Philly and it sucks here. My neighbor and I are the only NY fans around. I can't stand WFAN anymore with FATcessca and Lap Dog so I don't even get good sports radio. Hope you guys can come through.
