I don't agree entirely with you Martin. We have several weak links on the offensive side too. If for example Barber or Plax went down our whole O-unit would fall with them. Behind Plax and Toomer there are just Carter and Taylor. I'm also not really sold on Jacobs handling the business in case of an emergency.

What I think is that EA will surprise us, once again, with a lot of our picks we have. Either way, EA has proved that he has a golden hand in picking out talent (more in the later rounds than in the earlier though). I'm confident he will choose the right talent.

I don't think it would be very wise to move up to get DT because normally they need time to adjust. EA is retiring and he's gonna draft players who have immediate impact.

Is it so hard to understand? FA is there to fill your holes. Draft is there to get young talented players for the future, not to fill your holes.

2 priorities...

#1...sure up the interior of the D-Line...ex. put the NY fan-base out of there misery and fire #94...ask for him to forfiet the majority of his salary he has earned since signing with the NYG's...he hasnt earned a thin penny in my eyes...

 

#2...find an NFL capable starting QB...someone with an arm, a little mental awarness and some sense of where he is when standing on a football field...

correct...nobody else did !!! everyone said week after week that when he returns are LB would be a leauges best unit...everyone was penciling this guy in as a starter for 2006 when in reality he was out the door...the FAB 4 predicted this guy wouldnt amount to much the day he inked his huge contract...and we were right yet again...

 

he will be remembered for 2 positive plays...the fumble recovery touchdown, and how he was the only one to come to that Pussy's defense when he was smacked out of bounds by Trotter...(later to be scolded by TC yet again)

I don't agree that we should draft a CB in the 1st round because no matter what talent a certain player has he will always struggle in the beginning because it's one of the most difficult positions to adjust to. Drafting Cromartie will have no immediate impact whatsoever. LB's have more chances to have an quick impact.

Ty Law is also doubtful to come here IMO. It would make matters so much easier if Ronde Barber came to us.

I actually thought that I would stick to the GMB but the idiocy-barometer over there has just surpassed the bearable line. Glad to see some former GMB veterans again.
